WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. No appointments necessary. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. Coco is a gorgeous female 10-year-old Queensland Heeler mix looking for her new forever home through no fault of her own. Coco loves all people, including children, but would do best in a home with no other dogs or cats. She would do best in a home with a big backyard as she enjoys sunning herself on nice days. If you are interested in Coco, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store; therefore, we cannot take every dog out to the event. Bring your entire family and dogs for a meet & greet. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Please contact us regarding how you can help by fostering or volunteering for our organization.

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE. Duke is about 2 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 49 lbs. Unfortunately, he came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. He does know sit and shake with both paws. UPDATE: He was placed into a foster home, but quickly became overly protective of the mom in the home. He would not let anyone near her, including the children. During walks he would bark at people and other dogs. He needs a home with no children and might do best with a single person who understands herding breeds and their protectiveness. He will need a home with secure yard for pottie breaks. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Duke, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. My dog Champ is a very smart dog. With the right person(s) he will make a very good companion. I'm fighting cancer and I'm not able to take care of him. He needs a home where he has room to grow. He'll be three years old on October 1st. For the most part he is well trained but can still use some work. He is a little aggressive but he can be very loyal and loveable.

Story
Meet my sweet boy Bosa! I adopted him in 2020 when he was just a few months old, and he is turning 4 this year. The seller claimed he’s a blue heeler/German Shepherd mix, but I am not entirely sure. Bosa is an incredible dog! Gentle, non-aggressive, and raised in a loving family with children. He thrives in a family environment but is adaptable and can fit in with anyone. He loves cuddles and companionship, having grown up in a nurturing home. Bosa has excellent hearing and will alert you to any noises, barking only until you reassure him it is safe. Unfortunately, due to current hardships, I am living with family who can’t have Bosa. It breaks my heart to consider rehoming him, but I want him to find a loving family instead of ending up in a shelter. There is no adoption fee. I just want him to go to someone who will care for him and give him the love he deserves. I hope to find the perfect home for my wonderful boy!

Story
Meet Shelby! Looking for a sweet companion to chill by your side? Look no further than Shelby, a 2-year-old Cattle dog mix who's ready to steal your heart! This medium-sized sweetheart adores love and affection and would happily lounge next to you all day long. Shelby is as low-maintenance as they come, with no accidents in the home and a fondness for her crate or cozy dog bed. Her love language? Treats! She'll do just about anything for a tasty snack. While she prefers her personal space, Shelby is warming up to the idea of another chill doggy friend. Daily walks are becoming a breeze for Shelby, who's conquering her initial fear of the leash and strolling like a pro by your side. She's also great with calm, respectful kids, although fast movements can startle her. If you're ready to welcome a loving, laid-back companion into your life, Shelby could be the perfect match for you! Come meet her and let your heart melt. #AdoptShelby #RescueDog #CattleDogMix

Story
Bentley (formerly Titan) was adopted from us as a young puppy and got returned 5 months later due to getting into plants on the patio when he was locked outside all night. We are happy to find him a better home since he should be sleeping inside like the member of the family that he is! Bentley gets along with everyone that he meets, people of all ages and dogs of all sizes. He is on the mellow side, spending most of his time lazing around with small bursts of play. His mom was mostly Lab but he looks nothing like her, our best guess for his primary breeds is Australian Cattle Dog and/or Aussie Shepherd. He currently weighs approximately 30 lbs but needs to gain some weight, we are guessing he will stay at or slightly under 50 lbs when fully grown. Story
Henry was adopted from us in 2018 and is not adapting well to the new human baby in his family. The cries and large change in the household have made him anxious and his family has made the difficult decision to find him a home better suited to his needs where he can enjoy his senior years. Henry is house trained and walks well on a leash. He gets along well with the cats that he currently lives with as well as the other 2 dogs. He can be possessive of his toys with other dogs so a home where he doesn't have to share - or a home with a dog who doesn't care about toys is his best match. Henry has enjoyed lots of adventures with his family, from hiking and lake trips to simply snuggling under the covers while watching a move; he is happy to adapt his energy to whatever you are doing! He is 10-11 years old and weighs approximately 55 lbs. Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org
