Sam is about 9 months old and about 50 lbs. He came to us as a transfer from another shelter where he was originally from an Amish farm litter. He is a herding-type mix, likely border collie/cattle dog or possibly aussie. Sam is currently in a foster home. He is very sweet and loving and really enjoys being around people. Echo came into our care after being transferred in by another shelter that needed help with space. She is originally from an Amish farm and is a herding mix (likely border collie/cattle dog or something like that). Echo is best suited for a rural home that understands the energy needs of the breed. She would love to go with another dog that would match her personality/play style but can be adopted solo as well! Echo is very sweet and loving and very people oriented. We are seeking an adult-only home for Echo at this time. Echo has made progress with housetraining and is ready for a family of her very own!

He's all about cuddles, not conflicts, and seeks comfort during thunderstorms. Jax loves hiking, responds well to commands like sit, paw, and lay down, and has excellent whistle recall. He gets along famously with other dogs (he'd thrive with a companion who loves running and playing), and adores kids—he currently lives with a 3 and 6-year-old. He's been around birds, goats, pigs, chickens, and horses. While his compatibility with cats isn't certain, with slow introductions and consistent correction, he should adapt well.
