Story
For the first time in my life, I need to rehome a dog. Freyja (FRAY-uh) is a 4-year-old, 30lb spayed mixed breed (Beagle/Cattle Dog/Pit mix). She’s up to date on vet care and takes Prozac and Clonidine daily, which are essential for her behavior. She’s been with us since she was 8 weeks old, and I’m devastated. Freyja is loving and affectionate with people, but she has shown unpredictable aggression toward our senior dog, including a recent serious attack. Due to this and a past nip involving a toddler, she needs a home with no children and no other pets. She is high-energy and very reactive to movement (lights, animals, vehicles) and requires an experienced owner prepared for ongoing behavioral needs. Traditional training has had limited success. Freyja is incredibly sweet, snuggly, and eager to bond, but she is a special-needs dog who needs the right environment to thrive. We are committed to finding her a safe, stable home and will not place her in a euthanasia-risk situation.

Story
Ollie is 6 years old. He’s a very calm and loving boy. He loves going on walks, cuddling, and playing ball! Ollie does best in a quieter/calm environment which is why we need to rehome, with 2 children now that is just no longer the case in our home. He has never bitten anyone but he does not feel comfortable around young children and would thrive in a home with older kids that understand boundaries or no kids, where he can have the space he needs. He was born with hip dysplasia but no treatment/meds required for it. He also gets along great with other dogs and cats. He seriously has so much love to give so we hope to find him the perfect home.
