Meet Slick! If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold and a smile that can brighten any day, Slick may be your perfect match! Slick is a young adult Australian Cattle Dog mix with a stocky, athletic build, soulful eyes, and the most adorably goofy grin you'll ever see. His happy smile seems to take over his whole face, especially when he's soaking up pets and affection from his favorite people. This handsome boy absolutely adores people of all ages. Outdoors, Slick is laid-back and easygoing, happy to take in the world around him. Once he's inside, though, his affectionate side really comes alive! He loves attention and isn't shy about asking for the cuddles and love he craves. If you're looking for a dog that wants to be close to his people, Slick is ready to fill that role. Before coming to rescue, Slick lived exclusively outdoors, so he's still learning the ins and outs of indoor life while in foster care. He's making great progress with house training when kept on a consistent schedule and crated when unsupervised. He's also working on crate training and becomes a little less vocal about it every day as he gains confidence and settles into his new routine. Slick gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion. However, he is a bit too interested in cats, so we recommend a cat-free home. While he isn't aggressive, his focus on feline friends could be stressful for resident cats. Slick is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside. With his loving nature, eager heart, and joyful personality, he's ready to find a family that will give him the love he's always deserved. In return, he'll reward them with unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and plenty of those irresistible, goofy smiles. Meet Rarity! Rarity is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy! She adores one-on-one attention, and loves to cuddle with us when it's time to relax. Equally as much, she loves to play and has a secret spunky side to her personality. She is very intelligent, and loves to learn new things. She picks up new commands quickly, and seeks toys when she feels the urge to chew. She is fairly reserved most of the time, but isn't afraid to gently express her boundaries. She would thrive in a household with one other calm and playful dog, or being the only dog in a home as she isn't a fan of chaos, or calamity. She weighs about 27 pounds and isn't expected to grow much more. She doesn't do well with cats. Could Rarity be the pup for you?
