Story
Araya was adopted in 2021 and returned due to her extreme separation anxiety. Araya loves people, and cannot stand being left by herself. She will tear a wire crate apart, bust through a fence, and try to dig through a door. Her cold weather foster had her crated in a plastic sided crate and she did wonderful being left in that. When getting dog tested she was very nervous and not having a great time, having very stiff body language. We do always highly recommend a meet and greet with any current household dogs. While in her cold weather foster home, she did well enough with the other dogs but will resource guard her food and toys. She is okay with cats, but as with dogs she will resource guard her food and treats around them. She is very excitable when meeting strangers and children. Araya is a cuddler and has no concept of personal space. She is a trash digger and a kitty litter eater. She loves playing with squeaky toys and antlers. Storms and fireworks terrify her. She is not fully housebroken and will occasionally pee in the house. She has lost her leash manners here at the shelter and will pull to go where she wants; if let off of a leash she will bolt if not in a contained area. She will load well into a car but she is a nervous rider and will whine and will not settle. Her foster said 2010 Rom-Coms really help her settle down. Araya is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, heartworm negative and on prevention.

Story
Meet BLUE! This charming blue heeler mix is estimated to be 6 years old and weighs in at around 45 lbs. BLUE is house and crate trained and knows basic commands, making him a well-behaved pup ready for any adventure. He’s a big fan of cuddles, always ready to snuggle up with his favorite humans, and his foster mom reports that he's shown himself to be great with kids and other dogs. One of BLUE’s most endearing traits is his unique smile. When he’s excited, he grins with his teeth, and while his foster mom has yet to catch it on camera, we’re sure it’s a sight to behold! Oh, and did we mention BLUE loves car rides? Whether it's a quick trip to the city's dog-friendly trails or a weekend getaway, he's your pawfect travel buddy. If you're looking for a sweet, fun, and loyal companion, BLUE might just be the one for you!

Story
Solo was found in the county and was not reclaimed. He is a friendly guy that hates being kenneled. He walks okay on a leash and will stay in a crate for at least a few hours while his kennel is being cleaned. He does seem to be potty trained at least in his kennel. His previous fosters had a doggy door and he did not have any issues going through when he needed to potty. His previous foster home stated that he did mostly fine being left on his own loose in the house, although he will counter surf or get into unsecured food. He has done well in his foster home with other dogs and loves to play. He has not been cat tested yet. He walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. Solo is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.
