Story
Pippa recently came back with Morgan - both dogs adopted through us in separate years - after their owner passed away. We want to make note that Pippa left here in 2023 a very healthy 40ish lbs, and now weighs mid 70s. Almost doubled her weight! We will be having her checked for Cushing's disease etc to see if this is why she is so big, but no owner should have let her get this big whether it be from diet or a veterinary diagnosis. Overweight dogs, and even more so those considered obese, face a multitude of health risks, including osteoarthritis, diabetes, respiratory issues, and a decreased lifespan. We can already see the joint pain and bending of her ankles from the excess weight. So we have started her on weight management food, supplementing with green beans, and pain meds. If you happen to have any green beans sitting in your pantry you won't eat, drop them by! They are useful in making her feel full but low calories. She is available for adoption, but we will remain in close contact to make sure a diet protocol is followed to help get her healthy again. She is around 5/6 years old. She came to us in 2022 with her litter of pups and was always such a wonderful girl. She is a heeler /hound mix. Up to date on vaccines/dewormer/spayed, 4dx tested, and microchipped. Story
June was wandering around as a stray for several days. No one knew where she came from. One day someone was able to get her and bring her into us. She is such a loving girl and listens very well. She doesn't seem to like the other dogs much yet. We are guessing her as a cattle dog/lab mix but we aren't sure. She is around 4 years old. June is now spayed and up to date. Housetrained. Adoption fee is $150

Story
My name is Fancy . I am estimated to be 2 years old. I am a very sweet girl, but I have a very quirky personality. I am very good in the house ; I am crate trained and have used a doggie door. I love jumping right in the car and going for rides ! I walk on a leash every day currently. When I first meet people, I am very cautious, and act scared. I defiantly bond very fast to women. Young kids scare me, and I tend to go hide in my safe place , my crate. Once I feel comfy around you , I act just like every other dog. I love to give kisses , play with my toys and go for walks on the leash. I love fresh carrots for a treat or a big rawhide to chew on. I have lived with several dogs before and enjoy their company. All my vet work is done, and I am microchipped. My adoption fee covers transport from Tennessee. I can be a very good loyal companion in the right setting. I don’t necessarily need a fenced in yard if you walk me on a leash every day. My adoption fee covers a health certificate and transportation from Tennessee. I am spayed , microchipped and up to date on vaccinations

Story
🐾 Meet Jake – Your Loyal Adventure Buddy! 🐾 About Jake: Jake is a smart, energetic, and affectionate Blue Heeler looking for his forever home. True to his breed, Jake thrives on activity and purpose—he’s happiest when he has a job to do or a trail to explore. Whether it’s hiking, playing fetch, or learning new tricks, Jake is always up for an adventure. He’s incredibly loyal and bonds deeply with his people. Jake is also a quick learner and responds well to positive reinforcement training. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” Ideal Home: Jake would do best in a home that understands the needs of herding breeds. He’s looking for: 🐾An active family or individual 🐾A home with a yard or access to outdoor space 🐾Adults or older children (heeler herding instincts can be too much for toddlers) Jake may do well with other dogs after a proper introduction, especially if they match his energy level. Why You’ll Love Jake: 🐾He’s loyal and protective without being aggressive 🐾He’s playful, intelligent, and eager to please 🐾He’ll be your hiking buddy, running partner, and best friend
