Introducing Miss Malika! Malika was taken off the streets by our rescue partners, who'd been notified of her horrible mistreatment at the hands of a homeless person.  Malika needed veterinary care, and most importantly, help to overcome the emotional damage.  Dogs are so resilient and hopeful, Malika has come a long way but has some way to go still.  She is nervous, but in spite of her fears and hesitation, she has never shown any signs of aggression at all! She gets along well with other dogs and children, so a family that could nurture her and show her nothing but love would be the ideal place for Malika.  She will adapt to family life well and will begin to trust again and become the beautiful dog she's destined to be! Her story is a reminder of how important second chances are -- will you be the second chance this girl deserves? VETTING: Fully vaccinated Neutered/Spayed Dewormed SNAP 4Dx negative (Heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma) Flea/tick/heartworm prevention No known medical issues or injuries PLEASE NOTE: Malika is currently in Mexico. With her friendly and playful nature, she is sure to bring joy and laughter to her new family. Nicky is young and has her whole life ahead of her, so she is looking for a family that can give her the time, attention, and love she deserves.
