This cheerful little guy wakes up every day ready to make new friends, explore the world, and spread smiles wherever he goes. He's wonderful with other dogs and would love a playful canine companion, though he's just as happy soaking up attention from his people. Don't let his small size fool you- Nugget has all the charm, smarts, and joyful spirit you'd expect from a Cattle Dog, just in an extra-portable model. Whether you're heading out on an adventure or settling in for some couch time, this happy little sidekick is ready to be right there with you. Nugget joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after he landed there as a stray. Due to his senior status and to ease overcrowding in the shelter, they looked to POMDR to help find him the right landing spot.

He is a young gentleman with a heart of gold, interested in long walks (or runs!), and is looking for his forever adventure buddy! This handsome boy would be a perfect fit for someone who is looking for a young energetic dog who enjoys exercise and lots of affection and love! Koda sits on command and could benefit from a loving, patient, and understanding guardian to teach him other basic commands and how to politely walk on leash. He gets along with other dogs but does tend to bark at them when he is out on walks to let them know he wants to play. Koda would not be a good fit in a home that has cats or children. Koda came to us after his senior guardian passed away.
