Story
We've had Finn all 8 years of his wonderful life. Finn was born in a shelter. We adopted him at 8 weeks old and took him home at 12 weeks. See puppy photo. What changed? We had our first child 2 years ago and the BIG toddler energy has changed the dynamic of our household. Finn feels anxious, barks and sometimes shakes when our son runs & plays loudly. He was such a chill dog and loved our chill lifestyle, but we can't give that to him anymore. Finn is incredibly sweet, very smart and everyone comments on how handsome he is. He has beautiful eyes and is an old soul. He LOVES playing fetch with a tennis ball, is great on-leash and loves long walks. He loves swimming… but isn't very good at it. He’s very well behaved in the house--no potty issues, does NOT counter-surf or snatch food, does not jump up on people and has never had any health issues. He’s GREAT around smaller dogs and all sorts of people. He loves butt scratches and belly rubs.

Story
Meet me at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, September 30th at Woodlands Pet Store Novato from 12-3pm (unless adopted before 3pm).(I'm being fostered at Happy Hound in Oakland)HI!! I'm Linus, I'm an 8 month old Kelpie mix looking for a home! I'm a fun one! I would love an active home! I'm great in the car, love hikes and overall a very affectionate and fun pup! I love other dogs and currently at Happy Hound Doggie Daycare where I'm getting so much training and loving. I get to play with dogs for a few hours a day, but then I need a time out as I can be a bit pushy with other dogs after I'm tired. I'm only about 35lbs, would love a great home! Ask more about me!!! Or call Happy Hound directly and ask to speak to someone Linus! YAY! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Age: 1yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
She is affectionate, social, athletic, goofy, playful, intelligent and eager to please. She is friendly to both people and other dogs. She will shower you with kisses, leans in when she can and is always ready for belly rubs. She has good doggy manners and hasn't met a dog that she doesn't like yet. Her favorite activities are fetch, tug-of-war and running with other dogs in the dog park; she will play for as long as she can. Being a working dog, she has boundless energy and an active mind. She enjoys jogging, hiking and other mental stimulation such as puzzle games. She always settles down nicely after adequate exercise and sleeps through the night, then greeting you with much love upon waking up. Buffy is extremely treat-motivated and has mastered Sit, and has somewhat reliable Down, Touch and Shake. We are sure she will master other commands and tricks in no time. She also responds well to positive reinforcement and boundary setting, learning fast (though still needs reminding) that affectionate nipping is not welcomed with humans. Buffy will continue to benefit from impulse control training and socialization to things that she may be unfamiliar with (e.g. car rides, going up and down stairs); she is a quick learner and has gained confidence with positive reinforcement (she loves car rides now and runs up the stairs when she can).

Story
Patches is just about perfect. He's three years old and fully grown at 33 pounds. He is loved by everyone he meets. He was terrified at the shelter and a few not good but great samaritans took him out of the clanging loud overcrowded shelter and brought him outside where he transformed into a wonderful adorable loving fun dog .. the kind of dog who makes the world's best companion and the kind of dog you raise your kids with. He was scheduled to die and Reunion Rescue put a rescue hold on him. We didn't have a cent in the bank and had just pulled Pumpkin another sweetheart pittie. He was a leap of faith because we KNEW he was a perfect dog and that perfect home is out there waiting for him. Here is his TikTox which shows him going from terrified to super pup all in a few minutes: https://www.tiktok.com/@heathersshelterpals/video/7275403855792327979 Reunion Rescue and Animals First Rescue has the greatest foster to adopt program and if interested you can get into our holistic support and never pay another vet bill. We have the healthiest happiest dogs in the world. Please contact us today and let us hook you up with a meet and greet with Patches...https://youtu.be/IvfsfS6NVUc?si=Fl5btVePu2FHUt61

Please contact Lucinda (lucinda@northbaycanine.org) for more information about this pet.North bay Canine Rescue and Placement  707-776-6855 or write: lucindalnf@gmail.com Cooper is a 3.5 year old (as of 12/2020), male, Australian Cattle dog/Pit bull mix.  He is loves people and wants to please. He has a lot of energy and a high prey drive.  He is selective about the dogs he lives with so we recommend him to be an only dog and no dog parks.  He's medium in size, but extremely strong in muscle, hence could knock a child or frail person off balance with his exuberance &  enthusiasm.  To fill out our adoption application please go here: http://northbaycanine.org/adopting-from-north-bay/ Call: 707-776-6855 or write: lucindalnf@gmail.comSeptember 29, 2023, 1:35 am
