Meet Foxie! She was actually rescued by two staff members in pt. Richmond with her baby and the dad. They all went to CCAS and foxie was the last one who needed a home, so Milo pulled her! So far she is sweet once she warms up and she is still learning the basics of the world. She would do well with owners who have experience with dogs and ideally adults only as she can be a bit nervous with too much going on. She walks well on leash.

Hugo is a sweet boy. At parks he plays happily and perfectly with dogs of any breed and size - big ones, tiny ones. He even prefers to let other dogs win at fetch. At home he’s cuddly and loves the other dog in our home. He eats very slowly, savoring each bite. Even if napping, every hour or so he comes to check on the humans. But on leash, on walks, he’s reactive to dogs. It’s a totally different experience. He pulls and barks and growls. We’ve tried training and different leashes and even dog prozac. We adopted him 2 years ago, and they say he may have been through some trauma. If we can’t find him a happier home, somewhere in a less populated area where he wouldn’t have to go on walks past other dogs every day like he does now in the city, we will simply keep him and keep loving him. We just want him to not have this stressful experience twice a day :(

We pulled her and are looking for that perfect home where Tawny can enjoy being a doggy for the first time. She is in foster care now with four other dogs and doing wonderfully. His problem is he’s overly lovable and doesn’t know when to stop ha ha ha. he’s a tricolored he almost 5, and he’s weighs about 45 pounds He needs a guy that he can go around in the truck every day and takes him to work every day and let him run all around. I live in a place that doesn’t have a yard that’s closed in anymore.

Jonsey is very dog social & plays well with others. He's on the smaller side, maybe 30+ lbs. Jonsey was found with his sibling & the good Samaritan couldn’t keep both, so got Jonsey to a boarding kennel. Jonsey is a quiet guy, compared to some cattle dogs that can have a shrill & annoying bark. He is almost housebroken, which is hard, living in a kennel. Jonsey will be a great companion for someone patient, quiet, & willing to guide him along. Before coming to the kennel, Jonsey may have very well, never been inside.
