This beautiful dog was a stray that I picked up during a storm. She had no collar and ran to me. I took her to a local shelter and no one claimed her, so I adopted her. We already have a small 6 month old puppy, and we are not equipped to care for a larger dog at this time. She is not hyper, and actually has a gentle and docile personality. She will make a wonderful companion/pet to someone who has the time to walk her and love her. She is house trained and walks well on a leash.

He’s calm, well mannered and has quickly become a staff favorite. He greets with the softest eyes and the cutest little tippy taps of excitement, like he can’t believe someone showed up just for him. It’s impossible not to smile when you’re around Graham.Graham may be “new” to the ranch, but he’s no stranger to us. Adopted as a puppy after recovering from a medical emergency for a foreign body and infection Graham lived in his adoptive home for 3.5 years. He was recently returned, through no fault of his own, because his adopters living situation changed. Now this sweet boy is starting over and deserves a home that will never abandon him again. And Graham…..oh what a gem he is. He’s kind, he’s easy, he’s great with other dogs and tested well with cats. He’s the goodest of boys and truly deserves the very best of homes. A home that will promise him forever and cherish every moment he happily gives. He craves the human companionship he lost and we’re determined to find that perfect family who can give this most perfect boy his real forever home. Shes pure joy and the definition of happy! Always smiling and her little bobbed tail constantly wagging she’ll flop onto her back for belly rubs at a moment’s notice. True to her herding roots, Quinni is smart, active, and eager to have a job. She would thrive with a family familiar with herding breeds who can provide structure, enrichment, and plenty of adventure. Those that love these herdy dogs are going to immediately fall for this sweet girl. Seriously what’s not to love!!!This gorgeous girl was found on Rosedale Hwy in Bakersfield wandering the streets. She was picked up and taken to the County Shelter. During her shelter stay she had excellent playgroup notes and maintained her bright happy outlook. Unfortunately no one came forward to claim her and no one seemed interested in adopting her. Their loss was our gain and Quinni eventually made her way to our Tehachapi Rescue Ranch. Quinni has never looked back and quickly acclimated to life with our ranch team. Quinni walks nicely on leash, is dog friendly, and is so ready to trade rescue life for a forever home. What she wants most is to be someone’s loyal sidekick. Quinni is looking for a family who will appreciate her lively nature and give her the active lifestyle she deserves. In return, she’ll be a loyal, fun, and loving companion. If you love the herding breeds and have been on the look out to add a gorgeous girl to your family then Quinni just might be the girl for you!
