Sex: MaleBreed: Australian Cattle Dog x Birth Date: 6/15/2022Found abandoned in a basket with their mother who was leashed. These poor babies had a rough start to their very young lives. Our guess is they were likely abandoned because of the amount of work it takes to care for a litter of unexpected puppies. If only their momma had been spayed life would have been so much simpler. But thankfully this little family was helped by a Good Samaritan and made their way to Kern County Animal services where our foster picked them up once they’d completed a stray hold. The shelter is not a great environment for a mom and puppies and we are so grateful that a foster home stepped up for this crew. We have no idea who daddy is but we’re guessing there may be some German shepherd in their heritage just based on the coloring of some of the puppies. These sweet pups will be adoption ready in approximately 4 weeks so if you’re looking for a medium size dog to add to your family get those applications in! He is a smart, high-energy dog who does best with structure, stimulation, and attention. ✔️ Good with kids (older kids preferred due to his energy) ✔️ Knows basic commands: sit, stay, place, crate, and heel ✔️ Treat/food motivated and eager to learn ✔️ All vaccinations up to date With another baby on the way, weve made the difficult decision that we can no longer give him the time he needs. We want him to go to a home where he can truly thrive. Experienced owners, preferably those familiar with medium-to-large or high-energy breeds, are preferred. He will come with his crate and all accessories.

Meet Snowman, he’s a very special boy to us and to the whole community from Kym Stocks trapping him in the rain to Nancy/GrandPaws Rescue taking him in initially plus helping us with his vetting to additional community members donating to his training….its been a long road to get this boy ready for adoption. He lost his friend on the road that night as she was hit by a car. It was hard for Snowman to trust people and other dogs initially. He’s partially blind and partially deaf. He’s a double dapple Australian Shepherd (Aussie). 1 year old. But he’s the sweetest and follows your voice and your scent. He makes friends with people quickly now. He’s leash trained and also runs off leash and comes when called. He’s crate trained. And for house breaking, once you show him the route to where to potty and he knows your routine, he goes with the flow. We adore this boy, he’s sweet and silly all in one. Good with cats and good with dogs that don’t get all over him. He’s not comfortable to play with any dogs still and he doesn’t want them smelling on him too long. But he will greet them and coexist with them. Yard space must be secure - we can never lose this boy! he would be fine in an apartment too - loves his walks. $150.00 Adoption fee covers his neuter, microchip, all vetting and forever help for our sweet boy. We prefer he gets adopted locally to set you up for success in the home with him. But zoom calls could potentially work as well. If interested, please come meet Snowman at our ranch ( 34128 Agua Dulce Canyon Road in Santa Clarita) any day between 8-6.
