Story
Kip is a true velcro pup with a heart of gold. While indoor life is clearly a brand-new adventure for him—he's still not entirely convinced the TV is friendly!—he is adapting so quickly. He is crate-trained and has not had any accidents inside. Currently fostered in Gainesville area Kip is heartworm positive and the rescue is willing to pay for treatment up to 600 dollars. Our usual treatments range from 500 -700;. He LOVES to meet new people and has a playful, bouncy energy. He will love a good physical play session with other pups once he is heartworm negative. When he gets super excited, he can be a bit jumpy, but he’s eager to learn how to channel his happy energy. While traditional fetch isn't really his thing, watching for squirrels and lizards in the yard is his absolute favorite hobby, and loves a good rope toy! Because he is food-motivated, working on new commands with him is fun and rewarding. He is a sensitive soul who thrives on encouragement and soft, positive reinforcement. He learns quickly and just wants to make his humans happy! Kip will do wonderfully with an owner who appreciates his playful side and is ready to give him gentle guidance and lots of love as he learns all about house-dog life. Apply to meet him today! 💙

Story
We have a litter of five puppies, and still need to rehome two females and one male. One of the females in the little brown one in the sitting picture, and the one male is the single photo with the white nose. They are around kids and other dogs all day and already have started potty training and eating soft food. They are very active but also have a consistent routine with eating and going potty

If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Meet Tater 4 months old (approx dob 5/19/2026) 25 lbs • Kelpie/Shepherd mix Tater is one adorable little explorer! ❤️ He loves climbing, investigating, playing with other dogs, and showing everyone that he’s not afraid of an adventure! This smart boy learns quickly, has great puppy manners, and is easily redirected. He’s working hard on potty training and crate training and is doing exactly what you’d expect from a growing puppy. When he’s not busy exploring, he happily entertains himself with chewy bones and balls. He LOVES playing with other dogs! A playful female would be an ideal canine companion for this energetic little guy. Tater and his sibling were abandoned in the Largo area, and now this sweet boy deserves a chance to stop bouncing from place to place and finally have a home to call his own. He needs someone who can give him consistency, routine, patience, and lots of love while helping him become the amazing dog he’s meant to be. He’s been through enough changes for one little puppy. Could Tater be your perfect little spud?I Tarter's adoption fee is $500 - obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed front or backyard is also required. Story
🐾 Meet Mink — your low-key, sweet-as-can-be companion! 🐾 If you’re looking for a calm, easygoing girl who would rather soak up attention than be the center of the chaos, Mink might be your perfect match! 💕 Just under 30 lbs, Mink is a sweet and gentle pup who loves her people and is happiest when she can hang out nearby and enjoy some affection. She’s not a fan of dogs who get too “in your face,” so she’d do best with a more respectful, laid-back canine companion—or as your one-and-only. Mink is not livestock reactive and seems to get along well with just about everything she encounters. She hasn’t spent much time around cats, though, so her feelings about feline roommates are still a mystery. 🐱 A fenced yard would probably be important for Mink, giving her a safe, comfortable place to enjoy some outdoor time at her own pace. Mink is currently being fostered in the Spring Hill, FL area, and her foster is willing to travel up to 2 hours from Spring Hill for an approved adoption applicant. 🚗💕 If your idea of the perfect dog is sweet, calm, affectionate, and wonderfully low-key, don’t overlook Mink. She could be the gentle little companion you’ve been waiting for! 🐶❤️
