He loves playing with other dogs, kids, and especially chasing balls. He's the kind of puppy who is always ready to join in on the fun, but once he's worn himself out, he's happy to curl up beside you for some serious cuddle time. McIntosh is already crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash, so he's got a great head start on becoming the perfect family companion. And I am a DARK chocolate girl with red highlights :) and a Deep Thinker :) I am a sweet girl, but i have to know you first. I am NOT a "kiss on the first date" kinda dog!! My rescue has no idea what the beginning of my life was..... but they know that, if you give me a little time to get to know you, you will have the bestest friend EVER! I am.a fuzzy girl too.. She's a true peoplelover, always ready for affection and cuddles. Suzi enjoys a variety of things and activities such as playing tug, soft squeaky toys, going on walks, frozen peanut butter filled kongs, hard chews, licky mats, snuffle mats, dog puzzles, soft foam dog beds (and maybe a fuzzy one for her head), belly rubs, and giving kisses. She's potty trained and kennel trained, though she'd rather be by your side.  Suzi has a bit of a prey drive, so she's not suited for homes with small animals. She's selective with other dogs, making her a good fit as an only dog or with a submissive dog companion. She's actively learning commands and tricks (sit, lie down, come, wait, here, get it, give it, leave it, place, here, spin, twirl, touch, hide, roll over, crawl and catch) and is eager to please for treats or toys. Suzi is intelligent, inquisitive, and knows when to relax. If you're seeking a Border Collie's intelligence, beauty, and loyalty without the high energy, Suzi is your ideal match. She requires a fenced yard and someone knowledgeable about her breed. She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Update on Louise Louise has made wonderful progress and continues to settle beautifully into home life. She now happily comes over for snacks, follows her people from room to room, and enjoys spending time with the other dogs in the house. She’s discovered the joy of couches and cozy beds and is comfortable taking naps while her humans go about their daily routines. Louise thrives on structure and has established a solid routine. When called, she will come to you, and she knows her crate well—running right to it and waiting patiently at mealtimes. She is respectful of her space and does not chew blankets, so she enjoys having plenty of soft bedding in her crate. Toys and bones are her absolute favorites. Louise is fully potty trained. She continues to make steady progress in her confidence and daily routine. She must have a securely fenced yard, as this is important for her comfort and safety. While she does best in a calm environment, Louise can be unsure around strangers in the home and will need to be placed in her “safe zone,” such as her crate, when visitors arrive. She may bark at new people, and her rescue is actively working with her on this behavior. Leash walking will require patience and consistency, but with a gentle, understanding adopter, she has the potential to improve. Louise is looking for a patient, committed home that will continue helping her build confidence and reach her next milestone. With time, structure, and love, she will make a deeply loyal and rewarding companion. He LOVES cuddling on the couch, snuggling into warm blankets fresh from the dryer, and rubbing his face on yours when he wants attention. Squeaky ball fanatic Completed obedience classes—smart and eager to please Great in the car and enjoys short walks Excellent house manners Showing wonderful improvement on leash around distractions, including other dogs Leroy would do best as the only dog in his home or could live with a submissive female dog. While he’s sweet and friendly with people (just ask his vet team!), he’s happiest and most relaxed when he doesn’t have to share his space with more dominant dogs. Leroy may display reactivity toward certain dogs and requires active management during such encounters, particularly in confined spaces such as elevators and hallways.
