Meet Gretle (aka Liza Jean) This adorable little masked bandit will steal your heart and your blanket- and no she is NOT wearing a mask! That is her gorgeous coloring!! She's so full of love and energy in an adorable little package. Her foster mom says, "She's been an amazing playmate for our dog! She will play hard and love hard. She just seems to know when I need extra love- I have had some medical issues lately so TONS of cuddles from this wonderful pup. It's not a typical kind of cuddle, she has her OWN love language. The little darling will snuggle her head on me with her butt in the air- the whole cuddle session. When she's satisfied she's given enough love, she'll flop down asking for her OWN belly rubs. This kiddo can't get enough of em. She's gotten along with my dogs and with supervision she's learning to be ok with my cats. We're still working on the cats part. She just so so so wants to have her own family who will play with her, let her cuddle them and then give her the celebratory belly rubs. Not TOO much to ask for this very smart and very happy girl!" Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2610385##
