Story
Look no further than Loki. This boy will melt your heart with his beautiful brown eyes. Loki was surrendered by his owners, through no fault of his own, and is looking for a family that will shower him with attention and give him the home he deserves. At 3 years old and an Australian Kelpie mix, Loki is fully grown and weighing in at around 43 lbs., making him the perfect medium sized companion.Loki is looking for a family that will put the time and effort into providing daily exercise, a variety of adventurous activities, and a commitment to continued training. With a little structure, this loving boy will thrive. He has been doing great on a leash and loves to play. He is already leash trained and ready to join his family on regular walks in the neighborhood or along a walking trial or anything in between. He is currently learning the art of fetch and cannot wait to show off his skills to his new family.Loki gets along well with all canine friends as well as kids, however his relationship with cats is unknown at this time. Along with his great leash skills, he has added house and crate training to his accomplishments. He aims to please and will always put his best paw forward in the learning process. Although Loki is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. With lots of love still to give, Loki is ready for a second chance at a forever family. Do not look past this amazing pup.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. Story
Meet Ariel, a brave and beautiful soul who embodies the best of both worlds: an adventurous spirit with a gentle, loving heart. Ariel is around 1 year old or older, we’re not sure of age, weighing around 30lbs. We believe she may be a Kelpie mix. She is a curious and playful pup, always ready to explore and discover new things, yet she is also dignified and quiet, with a loyal and protective nature. Ariel is an independent thinker, but don't let that fool you - she is a social butterfly who loves nothing more than to be by your side, offering gentle affection and a listening ear. With her athletic build, she is always up for a game or a walk, but she is just as happy curling up for some quiet time. Ariel is a smart cookie, too, always eager to learn and please. She is a true friend, a brave companion, and a loyal confidante, offering a gentle nudge and a listening ear. This wonderful girl is ready to find her forever family and fill your home with love, laughter, and gentle adventures. Could that be with you? Ariel is spayed, fully vetted and microchipped. Our pups come with one month of free pet insurance when you adopt. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Soft eyes, tender heart, and a little bit of baby bravery in progress. Stella is learning that the world is a safe and wonderful place. If you’ve been dreaming of a loyal shadow who just wants to grow up by your side, keep reading. Imagine a pup whose main goal in life is to be your most loyal shadow. Stella is just that! While she might start off a bit shy, watching her gain confidence is one of the most rewarding journeys you’ll ever take. Don’t miss her in action! Check out her adoption video below to see her sweet personality (and those adorable ears) for yourself. https://youtu.be/5ehK8u5zTuU Stella is the ultimate "hang out" dog. She isn’t going to demand a marathon every morning; instead, she’s content to be your quiet observer, wandering nearby while you garden or relaxing at your feet while you work. She has a "velcro" heart once she trusts you, she wants to be exactly where you are. She’s the kind of dog who finds magic in the simple moments of just being together. Stella is shaping up to be the ultimate adventure partner! Weighing in at 31 pounds, she’s a perfectly compact companion ready for road trips, hiking trails, and backyard zoomies. We suspect she’s a Cattle Dog mix, and while her exact DNA is a mystery, her "smarty pants" personality is undeniable. Like all our rescues, her breed is our best guess, but one thing is certain: her heart is 100% yours! In her foster home, Stella has been a polite houseguest. She is crate trained and easy going indoors. She’s looking for a home that understands slow and steady wins the race! Stella is a gentle soul who truly finds comfort in the company of other dogs. She isn't a high octane wrestler; instead, she’s a side by side explorer who loves to wander and discover the world alongside her canine pals at her own relaxed pace. She would do best paired with a low to medium energy companion. A calm mentor dog who isn't pushy or overwhelming would be the perfect partner to help her grow braver and more adventurous each day. Stella could also thrive as your solo girl, soaking up all your attention in a peaceful environment where she can truly blossom as the center of your world. Whether she’s quietly coexisting with a buddy or being your devoted sidekick, Stella’s respectful heart makes her a dream for a patient, loving home. Is Stella a fan of feline friends? We believe she’d be just fine with a cat, because of her gentle demeanor. We can arrange a kitty sleepover to test the waters and give everyone clarity and see if they’ll be best buds! Stella is a "soul dog" in the making, looking for a quiet corner of the world to call her own. Because she finds the world a bit overwhelming, she’s dreaming of a home with a private yard where she can explore at her own speed. Apartment life just isn't her style. There’s a quiet magic in watching a sensitive puppy find her footing, and for the patient family willing to guide her, the reward is a lifetime of unmatched loyalty. Stella is a journey that is absolutely worth taking. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Small dog lovers who have always wanted a big dog- search no more! We have the perfect dog for you! This beautiful girl weighs 55 pounds and is estimated to be 5 years old. We think she is a Kelpie/Husky/shepherd mix, but we aren’t really sure, so we just call her our Texas Special- the very best breed! Trixie is being fostered with nine small grumpy dogs and has been a big foster sister to many more. It is funny to watch her gently play with them, and then she takes it in stride when they growl and snap at her. She shares toys and will lets them take toys from her- even thought she is 6 times their size! In play groups with other big dogs Trixie is very shy and stays on the sidelines. She will sniff calmer dogs, but doesn't want to get in the mix of things. For this reason, we think Trixie would thrive in a home with small dogs. Check out Trixie here: https://youtu.be/HGbITB-dv5k Trixie’s bond with her foster mom is tight. She’s become her little shadow, quietly trailing from room to room to be nearby in hopes of sneaking in a belly rub. No one in the house is happier to see her foster mom when she comes home than Trixie, who bounds up to her like she has been gone days, even if it has only been 15 minutes. Like many herding breeds, Trixie uses her mouth to communicate and can be “mouthy”. She would do best with older kids who understand she is being playful. Looking for a buddy to grab a morning coffee or late night ice cream treat with? Trixie would love to join you! She is an excellent car rider and knows how to “load up”. She is great on the leash and loves to go for walks and to dog friendly stores. She walks by people and dogs with ease. This girl does like to watch squirrels and bunnies- and would give them a chase if allowed. Trixie gets lots of zoomies- and loves to go outside and run laps in the yard. She also enjoys basking in the sun watching the world go by. A home with a fenced yard she can run around in would be ideal for her. Trixie potty trained and crate trained. She is not the biggest fan of the crate and will complain for a while, but will settle down when she can no longer see you, for this reason she would not do well in an apartment. Trixie met our housecat Biggie and was gently curious, giving respectful sniffs before moving along. She’s considered cat tolerant and could do well in a home with a dog-savvy feline who won’t mind the occasional gentle inspection. Trixie is searching for a quiet, peaceful home where she can feel safe and adored, a place with a yard to explore, and a person to lean into and little dogs to play with. She would love to go on a good walk or an adventure up the mountains. If you think Trixie might just be your perfect match, apply here and her coordinator will reach out! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/686a7f52abb88d9ce7062ead Questions? Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there!
