Look no further than Loki. This boy will melt your heart with his beautiful brown eyes. Loki was surrendered by his owners, through no fault of his own, and is looking for a family that will shower him with attention and give him the home he deserves. At 3 years old and an Australian Kelpie mix, Loki is fully grown and weighing in at around 43 lbs., making him the perfect medium sized companion.Loki is looking for a family that will put the time and effort into providing daily exercise, a variety of adventurous activities, and a commitment to continued training. With a little structure, this loving boy will thrive. He has been doing great on a leash and loves to play. He is already leash trained and ready to join his family on regular walks in the neighborhood or along a walking trial or anything in between. He is currently learning the art of fetch and cannot wait to show off his skills to his new family.Loki gets along well with all canine friends as well as kids, however his relationship with cats is unknown at this time. Along with his great leash skills, he has added house and crate training to his accomplishments. He aims to please and will always put his best paw forward in the learning process. Although Loki is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. With lots of love still to give, Loki is ready for a second chance at a forever family. Story
Named after My Little Pony for their friendly and happiness! These 5 playful puppies are full of personality, silliness, and nonstop fun. Whether they’re bouncing around the yard, pouncing on their siblings, or “talking” to you with their adorable little puppy noises, this crew knows how to keep everyone entertained. These babies LOVE to help with everything — even if their version of helping means stealing your hoodie strings, tugging on your pajama pants, or turning laundry time into a full wrestling match. Tug-of-war is their favorite sport, and they are always ready for playtime and adventures. When they finally tire themselves out, they’re happy to pile up together for cuddles and naps. If you’re looking for goofy best friends that will keep you laughing, keep you on your toes, and fill your home with love, this magical little litter is ready to gallop straight into your heart! Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hendrix is a 3-year-old male Australian Kelpie mix who weighs around 43 lbs. He is full of personality and a definite superstar! This boy is a survivor, and had a pretty ruff start! Facing euthanasia at a high-kill, rural Kentucky shelter, a local volunteer couldn’t let this sweet boy die. She pulled him to foster, and we began life-saving treatment for heart worms.  Fast forward to today, Hendrix is fully clear of heart worms, fully vetted, and doing fantastic in foster home. He is ready to find his fur-evers! He likes dogs, cats, kids! He loves to run and play, does great on leash, and potty trained! He would make a perfect addition to any family or single person looking for a loyal companion. Hendrix is neutered, fully vetted and microchipped. Story
OTHER PETS: Freddy was playful and communicated well with another young dog of similar size; while he was interested in a smaller dog, he also exhibited signs of prey drive during play and therefore should not live with cats or smaller dogs. Freddy would do best with a playful, well-socialized dog and should meet any dogs he would be living with prior to adoption.[NO LITTLE DOGS, NO CATS (Must Meet First)] OWNER EXPERIENCE: Experience with positive reinforcement or willingness to learn, as well as experience providing varied enrichment, teaching new skills ang playing games. [Special Experience] KIDS: Freddy is jumpy around humans, and as any dog is uncomfortable with hugs, doesn't love his mouth touched, and demonstrated his aptitude for counter surfing while at TJO. He often seeks attention, enjoys playing with toys independently and with humans, and has not engaged in resource-guarding while at the shelter. We want Freddy to be set up for success so his human family members should be old enough to understand how to interact with him safely during both play and down-time, and mindful of leaving out dangerous human food that might make Freddy sick. All minors should be actively supervised for everyone's safety. [13+ / Dog Savvy (Must Meet First)]ACTIVITY LEVEL: Freddy will thrive with regular exercise combined with mental enrichment such as food puzzles, scent games, playtime, and learning fun tricks. [Good Walking Buddy / Olympic Athlete] VETERINARY CARE: [Routine] GROOMING: [Routine Brushing]LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Positive reinforcement training will help Freddy bond with his new owner while building confidence and learning new skills and fun tricks. Story
Buster is a five year old Aussie-lab mix. He is fully house trained and has lived with a dog door most of his life without any accidents. He is a ball of fun but also loves to be around his family. Buster is very smart and responsive to the basic commands. We have a new baby and it is getting to be really difficult to give Buster the love and attention that he deserves.
