Story
As a Rescue do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Bourbon is a 2 year old Australian shepherd He weighs 67lbs He’s a happy positive go with the flow dog that would be a great family dog, he knows his name already, has great recall and is house and crate trained. Great with other dogs but wasn’t keen when the cat slapped him, Hes a solid 5/10 for energy but can go to a 7/10 He’s clearly had a family before but now he needs a new one!

Story
**Meet Dean — a Gentle, Shy Soul Looking for His Perfect Home (with Jackie!)** Dean is a very shy but incredibly sweet boy who just needs a little time and patience to show you his true heart. Once he bonds with you, he becomes your devoted shadow—quietly loyal, deeply affectionate, and happiest right by your side. Dean shares a special, unbreakable bond with his best friend Jackie, and the two of them must be adopted together. Their connection gives Dean confidence, comfort, and joy, and they truly thrive as a pair. Leash walks are one of Dean’s favorite things—he’s calm, easy to handle, and enjoys exploring the world at a gentle pace. However, he *can* jump a 4-foot fence, so he will need a secure yard with a taller fence or supervised outdoor time to keep him safe. Dean and Jackie are looking for a patient, loving home that will give them the time and reassurance they need to settle in. With understanding and consistency, Dean will blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion he’s meant to be. If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet, sensitive boy and his best friend, Dean and Jackie are waiting to meet you.

Story
Benny is an incredibly smart, eager to please, food motivated, high prey drive mix. Because of his strong natural herding instincts and high energy, he will thrive best in an environment with experienced owners who understand working breeds and can provide him with clear structure and mental stimulation. To ensure his success, Benny needs to be the only pet in the household, as he is not fit for a home with cats or other small animals. Dogs unknown. He would need slow introductions. He is deeply loved, but is being rehomed because his natural drives are a mismatch for a busy household with small kids and cats. If you have a calm, pet-free home and are looking for an intelligent, active companion for outdoor adventures and training, Benny will make a wonderful addition.
