Jenny came to us from our local shelter where she had just given birth. We moved her and her puppies into one of our foster homes so she could relax and raise her family in peace. Jenny is shy in new situations and with new people but once she warms up, she is the sweetest, affectionate girl who loves to give hugs! She loves to play with a friendly dog in her size range but is also content to throw toys in the air all by herself! Meet Dorothy Dorothy, formerly known as Huckaby, is a resilient senior girl who was saved from the euthanasia list and is now getting the second chance she deserves. After being neglected and dumped, she was in rough shape, but thanks to proper care and the love of her foster family, Dorothy has blossomed into a happy, vibrant dog. Her foster says she is no couch potato — now that her medical issues have been addressed, she has a new lease on life. Dorothy absolutely loves her walks, enjoys staying active, and is proving to be a wonderful farm dog. She gets along with all the other animals and is gentle, kind, and well-mannered. Dorothy is affectionate, loyal, and eager to be part of her family’s daily routine. She still appreciates a soft bed and plenty of love, but she also thrives on activity and companionship. This sweet senior is looking for a forever home where she can continue to shine. If you’re looking for a dog who will reward your kindness tenfold, Dorothy is ready to be your loyal companion.
