She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. She would do best in a family with a friendly dog. LILY is an affectionate dog who was born on one of the reservations we work with. She is a happy dog and seems to float on air when she walks :-) She will be a great family member. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. She was born in 2021. Rocket is soon to be `paw-roled` from our Paws in the Pen program in partnership with the New Mexico Corrections Department! Each dog is paired with two inmate trainers and enrolled in an 8-week training program that is designed to equip the dog with a nice foundation of training that will help them succeed in their new home. Each of these dogs will go home potty and crate trained with a whole list of cues and basic behaviors; to ensure a successful adoption, we are providing four training sessions to adopters, so you can learn what your dog knows, and an invitation to weekly discounted drop-in classes. These dogs also go home with a biothane leash and collar, 6 months of heartworm prevention, are fully up-to-date on all vaccines and medications, and are spayed and neutered.Rocket is a 1-year-old cattle dog mix, who is truly a patchwork of colors and personality. Named after Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy, he lives up to his namesake with a curious streak and a talent for getting into mischief in the most charming way. One minute he’s snuggling sweetly… the next, your chapstick has mysteriously vanished from your shirt pocket! Don`t worry, you`ll likely find it in his treasure trove of objects found sneakily hoarded in his crate.Rocket is great at fetch and just as great at settling down for a well-earned nap afterward. He has a wonderful balance of playful energy and relaxation, making him a fun yet easygoing companion.With his unique look and expressive nature, Rocket is a dog you won’t forget. He may take a little time to warm up, but once he gets to know his people, his affectionate and loyal side shines through.
