Story
🌟 Meet Mr. Bi: The Sassy, Sweet, Wheelchair-Wielding Wonder! 🌟 Hey, world! I’m Mr. Bi (that’s bee—not bi, don’t get any funny ideas!). I’m a 5-year-old paralyzed pup originally from Vietnam. My life started in a bit of a pickle, but I’m here to tell you that I’m one resilient, sassy dog who doesn’t know the meaning of “giving up.” 👑 Let’s talk about my journey: I was hit by a car in Vietnam, then sent to the U.S. for treatment. Sadly, the person I was sent to decided to leave me in a dark, rat-infested basement. 🐀 They called themselves a rescuer, but I call it “the worst AirBnB ever.” It was rough—super rough—and for months, I was locked in a crate and left to suffer. But hey, it only made me stronger. 💪 Fast forward to August 31, 2021—cue dramatic rescue music. With some strategic planning (and a whole lot of sass), I was finally freed from that nightmare. I had lost muscle tone, had some rat bites, and I was really thin—like, "please feed me, I look like a skeleton" thin. But now? Now I’m thriving. I’ve gained 9 pounds, built up my strength, and I’m showing off my wheelchair like it’s my personal limo. 🛺 So, what’s life like with me? I’m a paralyzed dog, yes, but I’m far from helpless. I LOVE to swim to build my strength (no big deal, I’m basically a doggie Olympian). I go for walks in my wheelchair, and let me tell you, I look fabulous doing it. I love being brushed, and I’ll take all the cuddles you’ve got. ❤️ BUT, here’s the fun part: I’m also a little mischief-maker. I’ve got a thing for sweatpants—don’t wear them around me unless you’re okay with me trying to pull them down. It’s hilarious, and I think you’ll agree once you see it. 😜 Despite everything, I’ve got a big, bold personality and a zest for life. I love people, kids, dogs, and cats (even though I’m not shy about letting you know what I want). I’ve been through a lot, but I’m finally ready for my forever home. 🏡💕 I flew all the way here for a better life—NOT to die. And trust me, I’m not just surviving—I’m living my best life. If you’re looking for a dog who’s sassy, strong, and absolutely full of life, I’m your guy. Adopt me, and let’s show the world that nothing can stop Mr. Bi from living life to the fullest! 🙌🎉

Story
adoption donation : $499 weight 32 lbs Age 1 year Ginger is a beautiful, super friendly girl who loves everyone she meets, her tail never stops wagging! This loving girl was found in Puerto Rico sitting under a coconut tree on a beach known to be a place where people dump dogs. A kindly couple saw her there and assumed she was waiting for her owners but three days later she was still in the same spot, hungry, and trembling. The couple took her in and discovered she was the sweetest dog ever! They had her spayed and vaccinated and on February 6 this lucky girl arrived to her new foster home in the northeast, ready for a loving family of her own. Ginger doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body, she is all kisses, wiggles and wags! She loves other dogs and is gentle with children. Ginger is medium energy and loves to run around outside but when she’s home she likes to curl up with her toys or a bone or try to snuggle on her foster parents laps! Ginger is completely housebroken and fully grown at 32 pounds. She will make some lucky family a wonderful new addition. Wags of Monroe county is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Adoption fee includes the transport, vaccines, microchip and spay. For more information on adopting any of our Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com

✨Zoey is a certified little lovebug who is just 1 year old and fully grown at 20 lbs (her pics make her look bigger than she)✨ If you’re looking for that perfect in-between size pup with brains, sweetness, and just the right amount of playful energy… Zoey might be your girl. 💕 She's very sweet and would do well with kids 5+ who have good dog manners and understand that sometimes shy girls just need a minute to feel comfortable. Zoey is such a love — the kind that melts into you once she knows she’s safe. 🐾 Super smart — sits for food, plays fetch and actually brings it back 🐾 Loves toys and happily entertains herself 🐾 Low on the barking scale 🐾 Enjoys walks — a 1-mile stroll leaves her pleasantly tired but not wiped out 🐾 Rides nicely in the car (a little nervous at first, but getting braver every park trip!) 🐾 Shy at first… warms up quickly and bonds beautifully 🐾 Would do best in a home without cats Zoey truly would be a wonderful addition to almost any home — first-time dog owners, active individuals, families… she’s that sweet, adaptable little gem. 💎 She's healthy, up to date on all her vaccinations and will be Spayed soon. Ready to give this smart, loving girl her forever?Reach out to Long Road Home Rescue (lrhrescue@gmail.com) for lots more info on her. 🐾💕

Story
✨Hi, I’m TALIA — equal parts cuddle bug and curious explorer. I'm 1 year old, fully grown at 45 lbs and sweet a can be! ✨ I’ve got a fun, lighthearted pawsonality without being over-the-top. I love to sniff everything on walks (why rush when there’s so much to investigate?), but once we’re home? I’m ready to curl up and be your favorite weighted blanket. Here’s what you should know about me: 🐾 Medium energy — play a little, relax a lot 🐾 Very well behaved (I like to keep things easy) 🐾 Great with other dogs 🐾 Would thrive with a dog sibling or as your one-and-only 🐾 Good with kids 5+ (with kind, respectful manners) 🐾 Housetrained & Crate trained 🐾 Excellent in the car — road trip approved 🐾 Grooming appointment superstar ⭐ I’m still polishing up my commands, but with consistency and guidance, I’m going to shine. I’m eager, gentle, and just want to do the right thing. Watch my video that my Foster Dad took and you'll see how goofy & sweet I am! If you’re looking for a sweet, steady girl with a little playful spark and a whole lot of love to give… I could be your girl! Reach out to Long Road Home Rescue (lrhrescue@gmail.com) to get lots more info on Talia...she’s ready for her forever. 💕🐶

Story
Hi, I'm Stormi and I'm a 1 year old Australian Kelpie mix. I'm fully grown at 29 pounds with a beautiful shiny black coat. My Foster Mom says I have the most adorable face - do you think so too? I'm a very loving and cuddly pup who absolutely loves being close to my people. I'm super smart and also super playful - I love toys, playing with my peeps and I get along great with other dogs too. I just graduated from training school and I'm very proud of myself! I know how to: * Sit * Go to my place * Walk nicely on a leash * Come when called * I'm also potty trained and crate trained - I try very hard to be a good girl! I love being active too! Whether it's hiking, going for walks, playing in the yard or snuggling on the couch. I'm happy doing whatever my humans are doing. I would thrive with a family who can give me regular exercise and mental stimulation - things like a fenced in yard, walks, outside adventures and fun puzzle toys would make me so happy. Most of all, I just want a family to love! I have a big heart, lots of loyalty and so many cuddles to give. My Foster home is in the Philadelphia area and I'm available there and the tri-state area. Reach out to Long Road Home Rescue (lrhrescue.com or 516-459-3509) to get lots more info on me and set up time to come meet me. I'm waiting for you!
