adoption donation : $499 weight 32 lbs Age 1 year Ginger is a beautiful, super friendly girl who loves everyone she meets, her tail never stops wagging! This loving girl was found in Puerto Rico sitting under a coconut tree on a beach known to be a place where people dump dogs. A kindly couple saw her there and assumed she was waiting for her owners but three days later she was still in the same spot, hungry, and trembling. The couple took her in and discovered she was the sweetest dog ever! They had her spayed and vaccinated and on February 6 this lucky girl arrived to her new foster home in the northeast, ready for a loving family of her own. Ginger doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body, she is all kisses, wiggles and wags! She loves other dogs and is gentle with children. Ginger is medium energy and loves to run around outside but when she’s home she likes to curl up with her toys or a bone or try to snuggle on her foster parents laps! Ginger is completely housebroken and fully grown at 32 pounds. She will make some lucky family a wonderful new addition. Wags of Monroe county is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Keiko is a very sweet and beautiful boy who we think is a Border Collie and Australian Kelpie mix. He's just about 1 year old and 35 pounds which is smaller than some of his pics make him appear. He's got different looks depending if his ears are up or down! :) He has a very sweet & gentle personality and can be a little shy when he first meets people but warms up quickly. He loves playing with other dogs and getting belly rubs and kisses from his Foster Mom. He get along great with everyone he meets ...just needs a slow and gentle intro so he can smell you and maybe get a treat. Once he knows you...he will be your best friend. He has a low-medium energy level so settles nicely after playing and loves quiet time relaxing on the couch or in his doggie bed. He loves going for walks in the neighborhood and rides in the car too. We think he'd thrive with an older doggie sibling to play with and give him confidence. We recommend kiddos be 8+ years because toddlers may have a higher level of energy than he'd enjoy. He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body but he's a more mellow and quiet guy. Keiko is healthy, up to date on all his vaccinations, house-trained and crate-trained so he's so ready to find his forever family. Hi there! I'm Jenny, a very pretty German Shepherd mix with topaz eyes and a gorgeous coat, mostly black with a white chest and brindle legs. I am about 2 years old, weigh 45 lbs, and I was picked up as a stray by the San Antonio city kill shelter and set for euthanasia when, thankfully, a rescue decided to save my life. I am now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, extremely grateful, and ready for a much better future! I am a sweet, friendly, and energetic country girl who loves the outdoors, exploring, running, going for walks, and riding in a car or truck for any adventure. When the weather is hot, I'll be cooling off in a pool or just a big tub of water! I'm not fussy. I'm great with people and other dogs, not interested in cats, and not into dog toys, but I love having my pretty coat brushed. My foster mom says I am very attentive to my people, curious, smart, and eager to please, and when I'm free to roam and explore, a calm and peaceful energy comes over me... my happy place for sure. I am affectionate but not kissy. I don't dig or jump, and I'm not afraid of loud noises or thunderstorms. A crate or small enclosed space is not for me.
