Her eyes deserve their own fan club, and her personality deserves one too! If your dog has been campaigning for a sibling (or seems bored chasing squirrels alone), Willa is ready to answer the call! She's a ready-made little sister who's always up for a wrestling match or full-speed backyard zoomies, even with dogs twice her size!   * Willa | 6 months old | 30 lbs | Australian Shepherd-Pit mix (our best guess!) * Excellent with all dogs and would LOVE a playful canine sibling * Smart as a whip, learns quickly, sleeps through the night, & is fully potty trained * Sweet, silly, affectionate, and always happy to hang with her people * Loves every person she meets and has been great with her foster's grandchildren * Huge fan of the outdoors and would make an amazing walking or hiking buddy * Microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed. Long Island. Adoptionn fee is $700. Willa is basically the fun friend every dog wishes lived next door - except she could live with you!     ##2702481##

Story
Alec is absolutely stunning! He is a 3 yr old aussie mixed with possibly Husky ..so yes, energetic!!! He would make a great buddy for adventures. He is very smart. A meet w dogs, as usual, is required to see who he is compatible with, no cats. A fenced yard and Older kids. He does need his own space to eat his food, so no little children that may not understand this. Alec has energy, if you like to hike, jog, or keep busy he is happy to keep busy with you! Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application.  https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application  Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.  We adopt to Long Island, Westchester, NYC area and parts of Connecticut only. Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Story
Tilli is a beautiful 8-year-old black and brown Australian shepherd Brittany Spaniel mix weighing approximately 50 pounds. She was adopted by us in 2019 from a rescue. She is healthy, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and ready to find a loving home of her own. Tilli is an affectionate, loyal companion who loves attention and enjoys spending time with her family. She is happiest when she is close to her people, whether relaxing at home, playing in the yard, or simply enjoying your company. Tilli is friendly with visitors and loves meeting new people. She is also crate trained and well-mannered in the home. She would thrive in a home with a large, securely fenced yard where she can run, play, and explore. At the end of the day, she enjoys curling up on her dog bed or sleeping beside her family. She is owned by retirees who are moving to a community where she will not have a backyard to run and be free. She would do best in a single pet home.

Story
Hello everyone! I am Goose in Terryville! Yes, yes, thank you - I am very handsome, aren’t I? Even if I am carrying a few extra pounds these days. Well, who isn’t at the age of 7 (or thereabouts - I’m not saying)? Although I do tolerate dogs and cats, I tend to want to be in charge all the time (duh), and of course all the people belong to me, so there can be conflict with others who won’t get with the program. And those kitties are SOOOOOO fun to herd that my foster Moms and the lady who picked me up think I’m probably best suited to a home where all the attention is mine and I don’t have to share (YES!!). I *may* be ok with a submissive female, but that would need to be evaluated with a meet and greet, and if there are other dogs / cats in the home, my adopted would need to be very experienced with how to manage different personalities so we were all set up to succeed. Because I like to herd, and because I am a bit of a drama queen when startled by young children, it is recommended that I go to a home without them. Older dog-savvy kids are OK. I can be loud and uneasy at first with strangers. If allowed some time to get used to them (and/or bribed with treats), I quickly lose interest in being dramatic and go for all the pets! I LOVE attention. Once I decide you’re ok, I want to be everywhere you are. In your lap, in whatever room you’re in, getting pet - I’ll roll right over for belly rubs once I’m comfortable. I give the BEST snuggles and smooches! I’m great in the car, not especially fond of vets but am muzzle-trained. I could also be given medication for that. I would do great with regular walks and my very own butler - er, person to love me and be my world. If you think I would be a good fit for you, please fill out an application for me at https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to my new furever family.

Story
Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is healed from that but needs 24/7 dog door access - he is doggie door trained. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and we have determined because of his need for 24/7 dog door access he should be adopted locally in case an adopter cannot manage his condition and he must return to the rescue. We only want what is best for this amazingly sweet boy!

Not good with cats,
Story
Don't be fooled by my good looks!!! I am a female red merle mini with blue eyes and I live up to the sterotype. I pack a lot of punch in my 23 lbs and need an experienced owner. However, as the ONLY pet (no dogs, no cats) and no children, I will be your sweet, playful, loyal and fun companion. I know I will take a special home but I also know there is one out there just for me. If you think you can pass the tests (and there will be a lot of those) then please apply for me at forrescue.net Until then, I will be doing my cute spins and sits, getting belly rubs, and barking at all the other dogs (that I'm separated from) at my foster home. Thank you for considering me. Note: I am fostered in Huntsville, Alabama and am NOT available for transport so anyone interested in making their life more exciting with me in it must come to Huntsville to meet me.
