Story
adoption donation : $499 weight 32 lbs Age 1 year Ginger is a beautiful, super friendly girl who loves everyone she meets, her tail never stops wagging! This loving girl was found in Puerto Rico sitting under a coconut tree on a beach known to be a place where people dump dogs. A kindly couple saw her there and assumed she was waiting for her owners but three days later she was still in the same spot, hungry, and trembling. The couple took her in and discovered she was the sweetest dog ever! They had her spayed and vaccinated and on February 6 this lucky girl arrived to her new foster home in the northeast, ready for a loving family of her own. Ginger doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body, she is all kisses, wiggles and wags! She loves other dogs and is gentle with children. Ginger is medium energy and loves to run around outside but when she’s home she likes to curl up with her toys or a bone or try to snuggle on her foster parents laps! Ginger is completely housebroken and fully grown at 32 pounds. She will make some lucky family a wonderful new addition. Wags of Monroe county is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Adoption fee includes the transport, vaccines, microchip and spay. For more information on adopting any of our Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com

Story
🌟 Meet Mr. Bi: The Sassy, Sweet, Wheelchair-Wielding Wonder! 🌟 Hey, world! I’m Mr. Bi (that’s bee—not bi, don’t get any funny ideas!). I’m a 5-year-old paralyzed pup originally from Vietnam. My life started in a bit of a pickle, but I’m here to tell you that I’m one resilient, sassy dog who doesn’t know the meaning of “giving up.” 👑 Let’s talk about my journey: I was hit by a car in Vietnam, then sent to the U.S. for treatment. Sadly, the person I was sent to decided to leave me in a dark, rat-infested basement. 🐀 They called themselves a rescuer, but I call it “the worst AirBnB ever.” It was rough—super rough—and for months, I was locked in a crate and left to suffer. But hey, it only made me stronger. 💪 Fast forward to August 31, 2021—cue dramatic rescue music. With some strategic planning (and a whole lot of sass), I was finally freed from that nightmare. I had lost muscle tone, had some rat bites, and I was really thin—like, "please feed me, I look like a skeleton" thin. But now? Now I’m thriving. I’ve gained 9 pounds, built up my strength, and I’m showing off my wheelchair like it’s my personal limo. 🛺 So, what’s life like with me? I’m a paralyzed dog, yes, but I’m far from helpless. I LOVE to swim to build my strength (no big deal, I’m basically a doggie Olympian). I go for walks in my wheelchair, and let me tell you, I look fabulous doing it. I love being brushed, and I’ll take all the cuddles you’ve got. ❤️ BUT, here’s the fun part: I’m also a little mischief-maker. I’ve got a thing for sweatpants—don’t wear them around me unless you’re okay with me trying to pull them down. It’s hilarious, and I think you’ll agree once you see it. 😜 Despite everything, I’ve got a big, bold personality and a zest for life. I love people, kids, dogs, and cats (even though I’m not shy about letting you know what I want). I’ve been through a lot, but I’m finally ready for my forever home. 🏡💕 I flew all the way here for a better life—NOT to die. And trust me, I’m not just surviving—I’m living my best life. If you’re looking for a dog who’s sassy, strong, and absolutely full of life, I’m your guy. Adopt me, and let’s show the world that nothing can stop Mr. Bi from living life to the fullest! 🙌🎉

Story
✨ Meet Snow White ✨ Once upon a time, Snow White was the devoted mom to seven adorable “dwarves.” After the whole family was rescued from being dumped on the side of the road, Snow lovingly raised her babies—and now that all of them have found homes, it’s finally Snow’s turn to shine! Snow White is a sweet, affectionate girl who truly enjoys human companionship. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her playful personality blossoms. When she gets excited, she’ll do joyful zoomies around the yard, ears flopping in the most endearing way—it’s impossible not to smile. She’s a fairly neat and well-mannered gal who does well in a kennel, so we think she’ll transition nicely into a home of her own. Snow loves attention, toys, and snacks, and she thrives with people who want to include her in their daily lives. An active home is a must—Snow is no couch potato and would love a family who enjoys playtime and outdoor fun. Snow would do best as the only pet in the home, as other dogs or cats can be a bit too stimulating for her. She’s happiest when she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion with a heart as big as her story, Snow White might just be your happily-ever-after. 💙 Snow White is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
Hello everyone! I am Goose in Terryville! Yes, yes, thank you - I am very handsome, aren’t I? Even if I am carrying a few extra pounds these days. Well, who isn’t at the age of 7 (or thereabouts - I’m not saying)? Although I do tolerate dogs and cats, I tend to want to be in charge all the time (duh), and of course all the people belong to me, so there can be conflict with others who won’t get with the program. And those kitties are SOOOOOO fun to herd that my foster Moms and the lady who picked me up think I’m probably best suited to a home where all the attention is mine and I don’t have to share (YES!!). I *may* be ok with a submissive female, but that would need to be evaluated with a meet and greet, and if there are other dogs / cats in the home, my adopted would need to be very experienced with how to manage different personalities so we were all set up to succeed. Because I like to herd, and because I am a bit of a drama queen when startled by young children, it is recommended that I go to a home without them. Older dog-savvy kids are OK. I can be loud and uneasy at first with strangers. If allowed some time to get used to them (and/or bribed with treats), I quickly lose interest in being dramatic and go for all the pets! I LOVE attention. Once I decide you’re ok, I want to be everywhere you are. In your lap, in whatever room you’re in, getting pet - I’ll roll right over for belly rubs once I’m comfortable. I give the BEST snuggles and smooches! I’m great in the car, not especially fond of vets but am muzzle-trained. I could also be given medication for that. I would do great with regular walks and my very own butler - er, person to love me and be my world. If you think I would be a good fit for you, please fill out an application for me at https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to my new furever family.

Milo is a 6-year-old male Heeler mix with striking coloring and the kind of presence that lets you know he’s been a well-loved family dog. He came to us after being relinquished to animal control, and when his time was up and he was at risk of euthanasia, we stepped in to give this incredible boy the chance he deserved. Why Milo is such a gem: • Knows his commands and tricks: sit, stay/lay down, back, chase your tail, and probably a few more • Leash trained and house trained — no puppy chaos here • Loves people and gets along well with other dogs • Smart, attentive, and eager to engage with his humans Milo truly loves everyone he meets, but we wouldn’t recommend a home with very young children. He would do best with older kids or adults who appreciate a dog that’s interactive, intelligent, and ready to be part of daily life. Milo is proof that great dogs sometimes just need a second chance. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who already knows the ropes and has a heart full of love to give, Milo is ready to be your best friend Adoption application: www.wtfarmtn.org

Story
Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is only about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is completely healed from that. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and could be available for transport but transport fees are on top of the adoption fee.
