Meet Danielle! 🐾With her impressive ears and sweet expression, Danielle is quite the little charmer! This 8-month-old possible Australian Kelpie mix currently weighs around 20 pounds. Our best guess is that Danielle will remain on the smaller side, although at 8 months old, she likely still has some growing to doDanielle recently attended her very first adoption event and earned glowing reviews. She gently approached people to say hello, welcomed being picked up, and got along beautifully with her buddy Freckles and the other dogs who stopped by. She also met a child at the event and was relaxed and comfortable during their interaction. Between visits and playtime, she settled quietly in her crate. And in the car she didn't make a peep in her crate!Affectionate and playful, Danielle is still a young pup with plenty to learn. While Kayak loves to make new friends with adult humans, he is nervous with children and needs a home without young kids. He prefers his personal space from other animals, so he would do best as the only dog or with respectful, laid back pets at home. Kayak is potty trained, crate trained, and takes to training quickly as long as theres a toy or yummy snack involved! After his family circumstances changed, we brought her into our home to keep her safe, but our two little dogs at home have not been accepting of her. Lulu will be 9 years old October 25th. She is a sweet dog, though can be very protective of her people when those she doesn’t know are around. She’s fairly high energy, though slowing down some. She has gotten along well with our other two dogs but likely would have trouble adjusting to new dogs, particularly other females. She’s not a fan of cats. She absolutely ADORES all children, including babies and toddlers. She’s beautiful, smart, and spunky and is getting more cuddly as she gets older. She fancies herself a guard dog but is all talk.
