Esther is a 25 lb, ~2-year-old independent, easygoing dog who keeps herself entertained and doesn’t need constant attention to thrive. Great with dogs of all sizes, has been around cats, and loves water. She’s a fun, low-maintenance companion for someone who appreciates a more self-sufficient dog. Esther is affectionate on her terms and happiest in a home that enjoys companionship without needing a constant shadow. Good fit: someone who wants an easygoing, independent dog who can entertain herself but still enjoys connection. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. He is about 18 months old now and I don't understand why he hasn't been adopted. He is adorable, he only weighs about 40 lbs, he is great with other dogs, people, and cats. Perfect little dude. He loves to run and play and splish splash in the water. He would make a great companion for an active individual or a family that enjoys outdoor adventures or spending lots of time in the backyard. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
