He’s a kind-hearted, high-energy boy with that classic Heeler intelligence and drive. Shelter life has been tough on Eugene. He circles and barks in his kennel — not because he’s a “bad” dog, but because he’s a working breed with energy to burn and a busy mind that needs direction. Dogs like Eugene thrive with structure, exercise, and a purpose. He will need continued training, especially around other dogs, and would do best with an experienced, active owner who understands the breed and is committed to helping him succeed. Eugene is Neutered, Vaccinated, Heart worm tested, & Microchipped. He isn’t for everyone — but for the right person, Eugene will be an incredibly loyal, intelligent, and devoted partner.
