2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##

MEET ROCKY, a 2-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves his human! He would do well with someone who works from home or is retired, as he loves to be with people. Rocky weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. He's done well with other dogs in the past, though we can test him further. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where he can go for walks, hikes or other outings. She’s fully house and crate trained, people-loving, and very ready to be someone’s little shadow and reliable source of daily smiles. Let’s talk about her party trick, because it deserves its moment. Sprout is very treat motivated and will happily perform the cutest little circus-style dance when snacks are involved. It’s less “sit for a treat” and more “joyful performance.” It’s cute and we have a sneaking suspicion she knows it. In her foster home, she’s been an easy and lovely addition. She’s affectionate, social, and enjoys being around her people. She brings a light, happy energy into the room without demanding the spotlight. It is very charming. With other dogs, Sprout is sweet and thoughtful. She can feel a bit intimidated by bigger, high-energy dogs at first, especially in new environments, but she handles it gently and gains confidence with a little time and reassurance. Once she realizes everyone is friendly, she warms up beautifully. She would especially love a home with a dog her size or smaller, or a calm, respectful companion who will let her settle in at her own pace. She also met a cat and was honestly adorable about it. Her approach was respectfully curiosity, followed by playful politeness. She even offered a few little play bows like she was genuinely trying to introduce herself. With proper introductions, she shows all the signs of being able to live happily with a feline friend. Sprout is overall a soft, happy, people-loving girl who just needs a moment to feel safe in new situations but then her personality blooms in the sweetest way. Think of her like her name… she just needs a little sunshine and time, and suddenly she’s thriving. Active outdorsy dog is looking for his buddy to spend most of his life hiking and running. He's house and crate trained, good with dogs and very friendly, but need experienced Heeler person to respect and love. No small kids or cats.

Taylor 💜 9 months old mixed breed female. Rescued from the shelter and very scared and terrified sweet dog. Fearful of men and no kids best due to her being so timid . Needs a calm place to I've been fostering Taylor for a little under a week. She is AMAZING! So solid with other dogs. She reads their cues so well. She is doing really well with our cats. She wants to play and will chase if they run, but if you have a brave cat, it will be fine. Sleeps out of her crate at night with no trouble. She makes herself comfy out on my chair in the living room for the night. She does not shed. She loves to play with toys, other dogs, her trusted people. She is still fearful of new people. She will growl and curl her lip if she feels cornered. But mostly just a cautious growl otherwise. A quick treat or a walk outside together changes her demeanor pretty quickly. She fear piddles. If something gets loud and startles her or if she feels at all unsure, she might pee. She does not pee when excited. She needs leash work. We are trying but it's going to take a lot of time. She is FAST! Her zoomies are hilarious and she would make an excellent agility dog. She LOVES a car ride. She love belly rubs. She is spayed and UTD on shots, etc. I wouldn't recommend children under 12 and she would really prefer a woman. She will be loyal and follow whomever her person is around faithfully. She loves to lie next to me at the foot of the recliner when I'm still. She will go in her crate. Makes noise at first, but settles especially if a sheet is over it

Pretty little Blaze 💜 1 yr old border collie mix. Found abandoned at a park and was very shy and timid. She has been in a foster home getting training and has come so far and is ready to be loved and spoiled in her own home now. She is doing great! She’s a very cool dog. She has all her basic obedience training, she is fully ecollar trained so spends lots of time off leash in our property. She has a great recall on our property. She travels great in the car. She now is able to spend time and play with another dog and loves it. She’s house and crate trained. She’s a high energy working breed but super smart and great with a routine and structure. She’s very loyal to her person. Great with kids. Will chase a cat but won’t hurt them. She will need a place with a big yard or property to run. She just goes and goes. Makes her so happy to burn that young dog energy. Would make a great hiking partner, she is ready for some fun! Foster family has offered a few training sessions for her new family as well. Great young dog that was rescued and now needs to be adopted and loved forever. Blaze will steal your heart. She is a friendly, energetic girl that will thrive in a home as an only dog. She is good with kids, but will chase cats. She has all her basic obedience training. She’s looking for an outdoor adventure buddy. She loves to travel.
