Pretty little Blaze 💜 1 yr old border collie mix. Found abandoned at a park and was very shy and timid. She has been in a foster home getting training and has come so far and is ready to be loved and spoiled in her own home now. She is doing great! She’s a very cool dog. She has all her basic obedience training, she is fully ecollar trained so spends lots of time off leash in our property. She has a great recall on our property. She travels great in the car. She now is able to spend time and play with another dog and loves it. She’s house and crate trained. She’s a high energy working breed but super smart and great with a routine and structure. She’s very loyal to her person. Great with kids. Will chase a cat but won’t hurt them. She will need a place with a big yard or property to run. She just goes and goes. Makes her so happy to burn that young dog energy. Would make a great hiking partner, she is ready for some fun! Foster family has offered a few training sessions for her new family as well. Great young dog that was rescued and now needs to be adopted and loved forever. Blaze will steal your heart. She is a friendly, energetic girl that will thrive in a home as an only dog. She is good with kids, but will chase cats. She has all her basic obedience training. She’s looking for an outdoor adventure buddy. She loves to travel. Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

He has better recall than his brother and is incredibly friendly with people. He’s very food motivated and loves to play catch, run, and explore and especially at the beach, which is basically his happy place. Carter is vocal and expressive, so he’s not shy about sharing his opinions with the world. He’s playful, affectionate, and thrives with activity and engagement. Like Finn, he can be reactive toward other dogs, but with the right patience and structured introductions, he could likely learn to coexist with them. Meet Lucy: Your Future Best Friend Lucy is a beautiful 2-year-old Border Collie who is ready to find a forever family to call her own! She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and healthy and happy. Lucy weighs 47 pounds. Lucy absolutely adores people. She thrives on affection, praise, and treats, and she’ll happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. She enjoys riding in the car, going for walks, and lounging on beds or couches right alongside her humans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be near you, Lucy is your girl. She is potty trained and doing very well with kennel training. Lucy knows her basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, and is incredibly smart, true to her Border Collie roots. She learns quickly and is eager to please, making her a joy to train. Lucy generally gets along well with other dogs. She moves quickly (again, herding breed energy!), which can sometimes be a little intimidating to more reserved dogs, but she demonstrates appropriate play behavior and is submissive with her foster family’s dogs. She’s often seen “cobbing” her foster family’s puppy, her BFF, which is as adorable as it sounds. She is still learning about toys and can be unsure of toys that make sudden noises, but she’s adapting quickly and growing more confident every day. As a herding breed, Lucy has a history of chasing livestock. Fast movement excites Lucy. She has shown interest in cats, so a cat-free home or a very slow, structured introduction would be best. She has not shown any herding tendencies towards other items such as strollers or cars. Lucy truly will melt your heart. She is sweet, loyal, and ready to devote herself to a family who will continue to guide her and love her. Currently fostered in Salem, Oregon. Her adoption fee is $400. Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business.
