Barrett is 4 years old. Completely house trained. I leave him at home while I am at work and come home without any issues. We are currently in a house that does not allow dogs and we travel a lot. He needs to find a good home where he has some room to run and play. Very sad to see him go but he truly does deserve more room to be a pup. No apartments please. Haven’t had him around cats much but he always gets along with friends dogs while we are out of town and they are dog sitting. Does not chew on anything but dog toys.

Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! We got Tyr as a puppy, he turned 5 years old on 9-10-26. He is an Aussie/lab mix. We are hoping to find him a home where someone can work with him and doesn’t have young children as he does better with older children (probably best with children 5 or older) he is just very anxious around small children and has a hard time just settling down to relax as we currently have an almost 2 year old and another on the way.We are also hoping to find a home without other dogs as he does not get along with other dogs outside our household and we have tried with other dogs who were not puppies, dogs smaller than him have been ok with a slow introduction (if you are very willing to try to have him meet your other dogs we are willing to try too).He overall is a very loving, friendly, cuddly and loves all the attention from anyone. He does have a lot of energy and with our work schedules along with the expected arrival of another little one we believe he would do best in a new home with space to run.
