Story
***** URGENT - FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED! LOSING FOSTER HOME 6/5! ***** Qawha (pronounced ka-wa), is a 3 y/o, apx. 45-50 lb. Kelpie-Lab mix who was saved from euthanasia at the Memphis TN shelter. Her unique name means “coffee” in Arabic and was inspired by her strikingly rich, deep coffee-colored coat. This poor girl has been bounced around a lot and now she finds herself in an urgent situation yet again as her foster mom will be traveling beginning 6/5 and she has nowhere to go! :,-( Beautiful Qawha is active and energetic, very intelligent, affectionate, and loyal - all the combined traits of a Kelpie and a Lab. She loves being outside and exploring the yard, especially with another pup or her people to keep her company. Qawha will be best set up to thrive in an active home with at least one other dog as a fursibling. We are not sure about cats though as she does display some hunting instincts when out on walks. PLEASE - if you can help Qawha by fostering or adopting, TEXT/CALL Aly at 732-604-0625 ASAP as time is of the essence! We also have videos of her with other dogs and additional pictures to share! Thank you for caring about a pet in urgent need!

Story
This unique little guy is bursting with personality! He looks like a Shepherd and talks like a husky but he’s actually a Kelpie-Chihuahua mix! He has all the characteristics of a kelpie in a compact, 22 lb. size. Originally saved from an overcrowded kill shelter in NC, he is now thriving in his foster home where he has shown to be amazing around dogs of all sizes and in large playgroups. And, he doesn’t seem to mind the kitties, either. He is crate-trained and surprisingly relatively quiet. He is not destructive and, given the high intelligence of the breed, he can entertain himself for hours with toys and mental enrichment food puzzles. He walks phenomenal on leash and would even do well in an apartment setting. Older kids recommended due to the typical potential nippyness of the herding breed. If you are interested in learning more and/or meeting this special little guy, please TEXT/CALL Aly at 732-604-0625. Thank you for caring about a pet in need!

Story
KENNEL ID #18804Meet Molly, Molly is a beautiful, energetic young girl weighing approximately 40 pounds and is likely an Australian Kelpie mix (best guess). She is around 1 year old and full of potential. Molly was found abandoned at a church, where a kind neighbor stepped in to give her a flea bath and make sure she was fed. When she came into rescue, she was in heat and was spayed right away. She does great with structure and routine. Molly sleeps inside a kennel overnight with no accidents, uses a dog door confidently, and is kenneled next to another dog. While they may bark at each other at times, there is no aggression. Because of her youthful energy and Australian Kelpie breed traits. This breed is known for being absolutely a brilliant, high-energy dogs were bred for herding in the rugged Australian outback - and it shows!* Kelpie Highlights: Super Smart - Quick learners and love a challenge. High Energy - Always ready to go, go, go! Great for an active family. Molly would do best in a home with older children. She walks nicely on leash and actually seems calmer when leashed. She already knows how to sit on command, is very smart, and is highly trainable—she’s going to thrive with continued guidance and enrichment. Molly is ready for a committed home that will help her channel her energy and continue her training so she can be the amazing dog she’s meant to be. ❤️ Molly is hanging out with her foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. If you have any questions, please email her at  abandonedangelsinc@gmail.com .  Thank you for your interest in rescue. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation FREE if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Mei is the kind of dog who bounces into your day with pure joy and a big smile that makes everything feel lighter. She is a happy-go-lucky sweetheart with a playful spark, the perfect mix of medium-high energy when the toys come out and soft cuddles when she’s ready to settle in. She is a natural comedian. Mei gives full body hugs, showers you with kisses and chases her toys with so much enthusiasm that she sometimes tosses them for herself. At about 2 years old and 45 pounds, she is a charming mystery mix with perky ears, a chocolate and tan coat and a stocky little frame that only adds to her character. She might have a hint of Doberman, maybe some Australian Kelpie and some Pit Bull Terrier. Mei already knows how to sit for a treat and she learns quickly. She is doing well with housetraining when kept on a routine and she trots happily into her crate for a treat, settling after a little whine. She loves to zoom around the yard and will play fetch for as long as you want. If you love watching a dog light up with pure joy, she is your girl. Mei does have food allergies and needs to stay on a hydrolyzed protein prescription diet. When she arrived she had no fur and was miserable, but with proper care she has blossomed into a shiny, happy pup. She will need to stay on her special diet to keep feeling her best. She gets along well with friendly, submissive dogs, seems neutral with cats and enjoys every person she meets. She rides well in the car and would benefit from a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy her zoomies. After a tough start in life, Mei is more than ready for the fairy tale ending she deserves. If you think you might be her match, reach out to us for more information.  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. Story
una is a GORGEOUS Australian Shepherd born in September of 2025. She is in need of a stable, loving forever home. She is energetic, playful, and highly treat-motivated. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, though her behavior around children is unknown. Luna would do best with an active adopter and may need extra time to feel comfortable around men. She needs a safe place to land—a foster ASAP. She is losing her home due to no fault of her own. Can you be her hero and help her to adjust to a better life? Story
Benji is 6 years old and a total sweetie. My family took Benji in 3 years from a friend with a growing family - as our family grew, we unfortunately found our youngest to have allergies and sensitivities, with serious flare ups when she touches Benji. Benji is a breed with a lot of natural energy, and without an outlet means he can be stressed out and anxious. He needs a lot of attention, affection, and play time! He also is a heavy shedder and has extra grooming needs. His favorite game is tug, he’s gentle with kids but knows he can play rougher with adults and loves getting his energy out in games. He also loves walks and does well on a leash. He is the perfect dog for someone who has a ton of energy, loves being outdoors, and has ample time to play!

Story
This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application (His adoption fee is only to cover transport and health certificate to travel to another state.)
