Story
Born 12/15/22 Briggs is female Australian Kelpie mix. She loves attention, cuddles and finding furniture and deck rails to walk on! She absolutely loves playing with her canine foster siblings and is very curious about cats, so could do well with a dog savvy cat. She has been wonderful with children but can be a little mouthy as is typical of young learning the ropes. She is potty trained and although she is not a huge fan of the crate, she'll go in and rest with the right bribe ? Briggs has enjoyed car rides and any adventure they lead to. She's an all-around great dog who will be a very loyal companion. She will require a securely fenced yard and if there are kids in the home, over the age of 5. Applications: www.mikeyschance.com

Story
Meet Rainy 🌧️ | 5-Month-Old Australian Shepherd Mix (aka “The Worm”) If love could wiggle, it would look exactly like Rainy. Rainy is a 5-month-old Australian Shepherd mix who has earned the affectionate nickname “the worm” — not because she’s sneaky, but because when she loves you, she worms her entire body toward you. Belly low, tail wagging, whole body in motion, Rainy greets the world with pure devotion and an open heart. She is incredibly loving and deeply submissive, always eager to please and happiest when she’s close to her people. Sometimes her excitement gets the best of her — she’s been known to do a little happy piddle when she just can’t contain how thrilled she is to see you. It’s not bad manners, it’s just a baby dog with a heart too big for her body. Rainy loves to play and explore, but her favorite place will always be right by your side. Whether you’re walking from room to room or settling in for quiet time, she wants to be included in every moment. She’s the kind of pup who makes you feel chosen. With other animals, Rainy is still learning. New friends can make her unsure at first, but she’s doing the important work of discovering her confidence and learning how to set healthy boundaries. With continued socialization, patience, and guidance, she’s only going to grow into a well-rounded, emotionally intelligent dog. Rainy is still very much a puppy — sweet, impressionable, and full of potential. She’s looking for a home that will nurture her confidence, laugh at her wiggles, and help her grow into the incredible companion she’s meant to be. If you’re ready for unconditional love, constant companionship, and a dog who will happily follow you anywhere (possibly wiggling the whole way)… Rainy is waiting for you. 🐾💕 If you think you would be my perfect forever home, my friends would love to hear from you!  Contact them at: info@handsnpawswa.org  Health & Safety  All our animals are: Microchipped Up to date on vaccines Dewormed and flea treated Spayed/neutered and given rabies shots (if age appropriate) FELV/FIV testing available upon request (at adopter’s expense)  Where to Find Me  Our pets are located in foster homes, Hands 'N Paws Othello Shelter, or at PetSmart in Union Gap.  Adoption Process First come, first served unless a hold is placed Holds require a $25 non-refundable fee per pet or full adoption fee Holds last up to 7 days After 7 days, unclaimed pets and fees are considered donations  Adoption Fees  Listed under each pet’s photo on their biography page.
