Story
Hello! My name is Katana. I came to RASKC as a stray and now I`m ready to find a new home!I can be a bit of a shy lady at first, but I really am so, so sweet. I`m a bit of a `velcro dog` and would like someone who enjoys being together all the time - snuggling, playing, and just relaxing. I walk pretty nicely on leash and would like a home where I can get outdoors regularly for some good, fresh air. I`m lukewarm on treats and toys, but that may change once I`m settled in a home. Right now I`m only kind of interested in squeaky toys. Mostly I just want you to squeak them for me, it makes me so happy I start bowing and bouncing all over the place. I weigh 42lbs and am considered a medium size dog. Due to my shyness, I may be most successful in a teen/adult home. My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
The first thing I could see when I met Olive was a nurturing nature, seeing her with smaller dogs and kids only reinforced that. So it was no surprise when I learned she was a recent mama who beautifully protected and nurtured her baby into a happy and healthy puppy . Watching them together was heartwarming and we all know that puppy was loved by her and soon will find a family of its own. So let me tell you more about Olive in hopes she wins your heart and can have her own happy and healthy future, she deserves it! Olive is estimated to be about three-years-old, she weighs 57 lbs and is full grown. We believe she may be an Australian Kelpie/Lab mix but with rescue it is always, at best, an educated guess. No matter her breed or her history, this girl is a great companion and a beautiful friend. She has a gorgeous, soft coat, attentive eyes, and the happiest tail to prove how happy she is. I could see Olive in a home with a yard so she could explore, bound around and feel stimulated by her environment. This girl loves a good playtime with a canine companion and her stamina shows when a good game of chase ensues. She isn’t afraid to let loose and get vocal when she is having fun, you will hear her sounds of fun, encouragement, and occasional correction. One thing that sets Olive apart is her incredible rapport with kids. She has a gentle eye and is absolutely at ease in the company of the noise and chaos that kids typically create. Whether it's playing tag or cuddling up for storytime, Olive's demeanor and patient nature make her a great companion for children of all ages. Although great with kids, people of all types, other dogs, Olive isn’t much of a cat person. Its possible she has never been around a cat which creates a natural curiosity, we think she would be best suited for a cat-free home. Lets be honest, not everyone is a cat person. In the vast world of dogs, Olive Karma is one great dog- loyal, loving, and one who loves a good snuggle just as much as a good adventure. She can't wait to explore the world from the end of your leash. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. This is Scorpio. This adorable doggie is a very easy going dog.  He loves the outdoors and will be a perfect camping buddy for someone.  He is gets along with other dogs (slow introductions always).  He is crate and leash trained.  He loves his humans.  This boy is ok during car rides too.  He is ready to find his loving home.  Are you his human? Why adopt from Texas? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future. An opportunity to be loved and cared for by good and loving families. There is a reason why we make the trip to your area every two weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received. www.springbrachrescue.org ##1711245##
