Meet Wyle, a three-and-a-half-year-old Australian Kelpie mix weighing 40 pounds.Wyle is a happy, energetic, and friendly girl who is ready for a fresh start and a family of her own! Wyle originally came to us as a stray, but she was microchipped, which allowed us to track down her family. Sadly, her owners were experiencing homelessness and ultimately made the difficult decision to surrender Wyle, along with another dog, so she could find a stable home.Despite all the changes she’s been through, Wyle has remained a cheerful, outgoing girl with a wonderful personality. She’s a great medium size—big enough to keep up with an active household but still easy to manage. She’s curious and investigative, always ready to check out her surroundings and see what’s happening.Wyle has experience living around dogs and children and is a friendly, people-oriented girl. She was also surrendered following an incident involving a goat while she was with another dog, so a home without livestock would be the best fit for her.Her previous owner mentioned that Wyle has some allergies, although we haven’t noticed any allergy symptoms while she has been in our care.Wyle has been through a lot of change and is ready for a safe, loving home where she can settle in, explore, and enjoy being her happy, curious self.
