Story
Meet Epsy – Your New Best Friend Epsy is the definition of love wrapped in fur. Rescued from the reservation along with her puppies (who are now thriving with another rescue), Epsy is ready for her own fresh start and forever home. This sweet, affectionate girl is as gentle as they come. She lives for belly rubs, soft cuddles, and simply being near her people. Epsy has a condition with her nails that precludes her from walking long distances though she does enjoy her daily walks around the neighborhood. With her low energy and easygoing nature, Epsy is the perfect companion for relaxed days – whether you're watching movies on the couch or enjoying some sunshine in the yard. Epsy isn’t just lovable – she’s the most lovable. Her calm spirit and kind heart make her a wonderful match for a laid-back home where she can soak up affection and return it tenfold. If you're looking for a loyal, soft-souled pup to be your cozy sidekick, Epsy’s your girl. Come meet her and fall in love. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. Story
Meet Jade, a gentle soul with a heart ready to bloom. Found abandoned on the reservation and being bullied by other dogs, Jade came to us scared and unsure of people. With time, patience, and kindness, she has begun to shine. She now trusts our UAF volunteers, and every day we see more of the sweet, playful pup she truly is. Jade is naturally timid with humans, but she thrives when she has a confident dog to follow. A canine companion who can show her the ropes would be a wonderful match. Once she feels safe, her playful side takes over—she loves to wrestle with other dogs, and a good game of chase (or being chased!) is her absolute favorite. With the right adopter—someone patient, gentle, and committed to reminding her she will never be abandoned again—Jade’s transformation will be beautiful. When she’s comfortable, her personality sparkles: she’ll invite you into a game of catch-me-if-you-can before flopping down for affection. If you’re looking for a tender, dog-loving companion who just needs a little time to trust, Jade may be the perfect addition to your family. *********************** Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue.
