Such a happy, fun guy is our Cider! Cider walks nicely on leash and is polite around other dogs. He would be a great neighborhood exploring buddy and companion. This boy is a little chubby at 69 lbs. We're thinking he would be more comfy at around 60 lbs. Exercise and diet should take care of his weight and he'll concentrate on bringing smiles to your face.

Story

We initially rescued Andy (Formally Anthony) from being put down in Pennsylvania. A rescue group that helped transport him across the US. We have attempted to work with him for the past several months, but prior issues we were not told of (snapping - no actual biting/contact, high anxiety, barking, food possessive, chasing cats, and most recently broke a window to get at a delivery man) have been too much for our household of another dog, several cats, and bird. Andy is excellent on a leash and in the car- fantastic on walks but needs someone that can work with 5 years of previous abuse and or trauma that we unfortunately do not have time for as full time employed. The only history we have found was previous owner suffered from dementia and was left alone for excessive periods of time. He gets along with current dog (also an Australian Shepard) but have not officially "played". Andy is okay with cats, but as we have 2 younger rescues who are more active - he will chase.

Arlo, full size Aussie, male, 1 y/o. Pigmy, mini Aussie, male, 1y/o. Both dogs have had professional training. Arlo is very outgoing and Pigmy is a bit shy (outside of the home). Due to unforeseen circumstance I can no longer keep these two sweet, sweet boys.
