Story
Hello out there!! My name is WINSTON and here is some info about me: PHYSICAL INFO: Breed: Aussie Shepherd mix (best guess, really!) Age: approx. 1.5 years Gender: Male Weight: 45 lbs  Current Location: TEXAS RESCUE STORY - Not much is known about my life before, but one day I just wandered up to a woman's house and made myself at home. They contacted County Roads Rescue, and the rest is history! My rescuers assumed I had an owner at one point, because I was such a well behaved boy! They searched for my owners, but couldn't find them and nobody appeared to be looking for me. Can you believe it? How could nobody be missin' a cutie patootie like me? I am SUCH a good boy and am very ready to find my forever home; one where I will get the love and care I am so deserving of. TEMPERAMENT - I am described as playful, friendly, and very entertaining. I am gentle with kids and people and I love to be around other animals. I've heard that I'm the "best of both worlds" when it comes to manners and energy level. I'm shockingly well behaved considering my lack of a stable home environment during my adolescent years. I am an active boy who will thrive in an home where we go on lots of adventures, walkies, hikes, etc. In true Aussie Shepherd fashion, I am smart, loyal, and need to be mentally and physically tuckered out daily in order to be content and happy.  I am a social butterfly and see everyone as a friend (cats, dogs, humans of all ages... you name it, I love it!) ENERGY LEVEL - Medium/High - I am a young Australian Shepherd boi who can be energetic and playful. Once my brain and body are sufficiently exercised, I'm a sweet, cuddly boy who enjoys affection and snuggles. I absolutely LOVE to play with other dogs, but when I'm not in play mode, I'm pretty calm. GETS ALONG WITH: Kids – Yup! Here is a video of me meeting some kiddos, I'm just the happiest, sweetest boy!  as with ALL dogs, I should always be supervised around children and I need to have my space respected. It's important to remember I am a rescue pup with minimal training, so I may play nip or bounce/jump up on people (including children!) Dogs – Yup! Check out my video, I am the ultimate playmate! Cats – Yes - video coming soon. PREY DRIVE - Low, however I don't know how I'll react to squirrels/rabbits etc. My adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, if they arise. TRAINING: Leash skills – I do pretty well on a slip leash but would love an adopter who is willing to continue working with me on my leash skills.  Crate trained -  Yes! Growing up in a kennel/shelter environment, my kennel is my safe space. There may be an adjustment period when I go to my new home, but with proper use, the crate can be my safe space :) House trained – Work in progress! I am very clean inside my crate/kennel space, so my rescuers think I'll pick up housetraining pretty quick. I'm sure with frequent potty breaks and positive reinforcement in my new home, I'll catch on quickly! Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.  HEALTH NOTES: I have been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.  I have tested negative for heartworm. I will be tested for distemper and parvo before travelling (although I've been vaccinated for both!) NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter. ADOPTION FEE: My adoption fee is $840.00, including applicable taxes ($750.00 CAD + 5% GST and 7% PST), which includes my ground transport to Edmonds, Washington. My adopter needs to be willing to drive to Edmonds, Washington to pick me up! :)  ------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: Please visit wcpdogrescue.com to read about West Coast Paws Dog Rescue and it's adoption process. The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live.  WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.  ##2524514##

Story
Hi, I am Lullaby (Simba), and here is a bit about me: Breed: Australian Shepard/Shepard mixAge: 2 yrsGender: femaleWeight: 28 kgCountry of Origin: Middle EastHighlights: smart, trainable, cuddly, calm, social, friendly A soft, sweet survivor with a heart as pure as my flowing white chested fur, ready to bring 'Zen' and joy to my forever home. Life didn’t start with love; instead, an illegal breeding center was all that was known. After being abandoned on the streets, the nightmare continued when city workers shot me twice during a stray roundup. Running for my life while bleeding and weak, survival seemed uncertain until kind rescuers stepped in. Thanks to a wonderful vet and a fighting spirit, those dark days are now replaced by health, happiness, and a heart full of hope. Being a cuddly muffin who loves hugs and kisses, relaxing together is what I do best.My beautiful white fur flows like a waterfall down my chest, a lovely sight to behold while we chill out! Smart and trainable, I listen very well and look forward to all the fun stuff we can learn together. Friendly and social, I’m simply a girl who has fought for her life and is now ready to give all that love back to you. A peaceful family looking for a social and affectionate companion would be the perfect match. Having a moderate energy level means I'm up for adventures but also perfectly happy being your "cuddly muffin" at home. After everything, all that's missing is a "happily ever after" where safety and love are guaranteed. Videos: https://youtube.com/shorts/ZaEqbIElDH4,  https://youtube.com/shorts/0ziFxMnPv3o Energy Level: ModerateI get along with:Dogs: YesCats: Likely yes (Rescuer says I'm good; video coming!)Kids: Yes (Friendly and social) Training:Leash skills: Some; ready to keep practicing with you.House trained: Yes. Please be patient and guide me as I transition into my new home. Health: I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. ##2465740##

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 💙 Name: Gucci 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 4 years old (Born in April 2021) 💙 Weight: 10 kg / 22.2 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Adogs got an emergency call from “Happy Dogs Home” for an urgent rescue. An elderly owner who had been caring for many dogs alone had to be hospitalized for hospice care, so the dogs were suddenly left without a caretaker. It had rained the day before, so Adogs was worried about their health. The director of Adogs personally went to Yongin and rescued Gucci, who had just given birth, along with her puppies. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Tends to be shy, and avoids and hides from people when nervous. Though she still feels uncomfortable, she does accept pets even from strangers if they touch her slowly. Is docile and accepts being touched once she becomes familiar with you. You should wait for her to build up trust. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, even new ones. Will even approach first and play with canine friends that she likes. Has no issues with living with other dogs and is very sociable. * With Cats: When encountering cats at our center, she shows aggression so caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed since she lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Currently only goes potty outside at our center. * Hygiene: Is scared of being touched at first and may try to run away. However, once she calms down, she’s okay with brushing and nail trimming. It's also possible to give her a bath or dry her if you soothe her through it. * Walk: Is timid and doesn't walk ahead. Rather, she tends to follow from behind without pulling the leash. Doesn’t get excited when she sees other animals like dogs, cats, or birds. Sometimes tries to bolt to get away from people during walks, so using a double leash is a must! * Likes: Likes other dog friends and enjoys spending time with them. * Dislikes: Is scared when people suddenly try to touch her, or if they make large movements.
