Story
Meet Belle, a gentle and timid princess who is searching for her forever home. This sweet girl arrived in our care as a stray and is ready to find a loving family to help her feel secure. Belle may be shy at first, but with a little patience, she warms up quickly and enjoys gentle petting.Belle can be easily startled and will thrive in a calm, quiet home. She is still adjusting to the outside world and would do best in a serene neighborhood with minimal traffic. As an Australian Shepherd, she has plenty of energy and will need a family who can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Continued training will be important, especially to address her barrier reactivity and to help her gain confidence.Belle has shown a protective bond with her sister, and while she may do well with other dogs given proper introductions, she might thrive best as the only canine in the home while she adjusts. Additionally, Belle has a charming penchant for talking, so her new family should be prepared for some lively conversations! If you're looking for a patient and loving companion who needs a little extra care to build her confidence, Belle could be the perfect addition to your family. 👑💖Do you think you could be Belle's person? Here are some ways to find out:1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs. Story
Hallooo world. My name is HONNI (Honey), how do you do? Here is a bit of info about me:Breed: Australian Shepard/Canaan dog mixAge: 2 yrsGender: FemaleWeight: 20 kgHeight: tbdCountry of origin: LebanonHighlights: Loyal, Intelligent, Affectionate, Calm, Independent I am a faithful & chilled out girl, awaiting a family to adore and in which to bring joy. And don't you just love my unique markings?Rescuers heard me screaming and followed the sound. When they got closer, they saw a man hitting me with a wooden stick. I was crying out, desperate for help. My rescuers would not walk away from this ghastly cruel scene. Without hesitation, they came in and took me. People in the area were telling the man to either poison me or put me in a bag and throw me on the highway. Sadly, these are the horrors in my country.I had been through so much and I was terrified, but I somehow knew they were there to save me. Being I wS wearing a collar, showed I once had a home, but likely was abandoned. Life on the street was just as harsh, as my previous family.Despite everything though, I remain a sweet and friendly pup, so they named me Honey. You'll find me quite the intelligent pupper, as well as affectionate. I tend toward the calm and can be independent, so I should be able to entertain myself when you are busy. I hear something called a kong toy stuffed with peanut butter is a good distraction. SMILE. Some confidence building exercises should be included in my training regimen.Hoping we can enjoy some cuddles and adventures together. I await your calling my name. Additional vids: https://youtu.be/uzg8s0giP_0, https://youtu.be/gTdXiNHXEWY. Energy Level: moderate.I get along with:Dogs: YesCats: unknownKids: unknown - rescuer states yes, but no video proof Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: Some.Leash skills: Some. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Some, as I am in a shelter environment. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2158697##

Story
Meet Melon!! He is a gentle and affectionate boy who wants to be loved :) Behaviours from foster home : Melon is a bit shy, but he is a very sweet and a lovely boy who loves his people and want to be loved by his hoomans :) He can be a bit timid and shy at first time. It would be appreciated, if you could give him some time to get used to his new family and new environment ;) But, once he gets comfortable- he will shine and show his all the love to his pawrents :D He is good with other doggie friends, also he's never showed any aggressive behavior to other dogs. He even likes cat friends, even though they don't like him. haha~ He is great with kids. He might be afraid of male adult in the beginning, but he will get more comfortable with time. He is good with bathing and grooming. His shedding is about 5 out of 10, and his energy level is about 6 out of 10. Also, he is NOT a picky eater at all :) He is also good on his walk. He might get excited when he sees other doggie or cat friends, but once he passes them, he will be on his way. The things he likes are going for a walk, sllippers and hide and seek in the house :) He doesn't like when someone touches his hind foot, but he will get comfortable with time. He gets a little uncomfortable when people hold him, so he will appreciate gentle approach :) He is pee-pad trained 100%, but only with the artifical grass pad. He is not a big barker and he doen't have separation anxiety. Melon may be a bit shy and timid at first time, but he is such a sweetheart and he is very gentle and loving~ Would you be his loving pawrents? :) Allergy/health issues : He hasn't showed any allergy issue. He is a sweet, healthy boy!! :) *Please send all inquiries to @everlove8282. *Please submit your applications through the application form on our Instagram profile! Our team will carefully consider each of your applications to find the perfect forever homes for our dogs. *As all of our dogs are currently in South Korea, there will be an adoption fee of 700USD + customs fee (if applicable) for each dog.
