Story
If I have an approved adopter, I can come to Canada in late April, as I have a flight angel to bring me. Greetings everyone. My name is Meeya (Mia) and here is a little info about me:Breed: Australian Shepard/Canaan Dog mixAge: 7 moGender: femaleWeight: 7.5 kgHighlight(s): playful, happy, interactive, social, strong, and beautiful! Being a growing little girl. I love my food... and not only my food..  well many things in life, it's all so new. I love people, kids, and other dogs. People here in the Republic of Georgia know me as Warrior Mia (you will find out why shortly.)Discovered alone in the Republic of Georgia with my 3 other siblings during a flood, my mom never came back. Glad there were loving people who helped save us.I have recently recovered from the parvo virus. Because of me, many Georgians and foreigners in my country came together to help. All of them helped by checking in on me, ensuring I received everything needed... did I get my meals, my meds, and so on. Big thanks for all the nice people who helped me get all better!I enjoy playing with dogs and people, and with my brother Baloo (also posted.) I have probably a tad more get up and go than Baloo though. Strangers petting me is no problem. I will sit and wag my tail. Yup. Other things I love... water and playing with my siblings are a couple. I'm also hanging out with a couple adult dogs where I live too. I'm a social pup. I haven't had any cat communications yet though. My foster is working on my potty training, so hoping I'll be "in the know" better by the time I arrive in Canada. They have also been working leash training with me. https://youtube.com/shorts/v1_uGNe6hLQ, https://youtube.com/shorts/MQXSVWiC1vw, https://youtube.com/shorts/0CVzanZ_1AU, https://youtube.com/shorts/3kNjrUbKUwk, https://youtube.com/shorts/9dbcKC3Dnys. Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: most likelyKids: yes Fears: none observed, except maybe Fireworks. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: very little, potty training in the worksLeash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: in process. Please help me continue to learn! Health notes: Parvo survivorI am too young yet to be spayed/neutered, but I will be vaccinated by the time I arrive. Spay/neuter will be the responsibility of the adopter and is required for my adoption to be finalized. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##1881916##

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet a timid lady Jinhee🩷 Jinhee was abandoned by a foreign worker. She used to hide in fear just from the sight of people’s hands. Even though she was facing the risk of euthanasia since she wasn’t used to being around humans, she's getting better now thanks to her foster family. Thanks to her foster who was understanding and patient for Jinhee, she now plays with people she trusts! Her days are being filled with more and more compliments. If you understand and wait for her, you will be able to see Jinhee’s ever growing love! ✨You need to approach her carefully because she can be surprised or uncomfortable with people who scream, or makes large gestures or actions. 💟 Personality / Characteristics *Keywords: #Charming #Timid #Mildtempered *Energy Level (1~10): Level 4 *Can be uncomfortable at doggy friends who actively and boldly come at her, but Jinhee can greet doggy friends coming slowly with a good manner! *Doesn’t particularly react to cats during her walking session. *Prefers a person who moves slowly and quietly than a person with a loud voice and moves too boldly!💗 *Jinhee who can be a calm girl even when she is playing with her foster can be more outgoing too! When her foster tosses the stuffed toy, she brings it to the foster and enjoys playing the tug play. *Can be uncomfortable when someone comes at her too actively and boldly.😭 Doesn’t like high-pitched, loud sounds. *Prefers walking with her foster and enjoying the surroundings than actively playing and running around with doggy friends. *Mostly rests during the daytime and becomes more active and plays in nighttime.❤️ *Can briefly bark on the sound of the door knock but doesn’t bark most of the time. *Doesn’t prefer bathing but she can patiently tolerate it. *No carsickness. *Tends to shed slightly but sheds more during shedding season! Jinhee favors her foster to brush her hair and getting cuddled and really loves her hair to be brushed more and often! *Mastered “Sit”, “Fighting”, “Kissing her foster”! *Jinhee’s favorites: Her foster and dog Churu snack. 💙 Foster account 👉🏻 @adogs_jinhee

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Bbosoon🩷 She was rescued from a dog meat trade just before slaughter. Despite witnessing countless friends meeting a tragic fate, Bbsoon wagged her tail upon seeing Adogs staffs. * Separation Anxiety: Plays well alone without separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Poos outdoor and is 90% success rate with pee pads! * Energy Level (1-10): Lv. 7 * Extremely fond of people! Greets with enthusiastic tail wags, even making her hips sway. Is affectionate and charming dog that follows the family everywhere like a chewing gum and always begs to be petted. * Gets along well with other dog friends and exhibits interest in other dogs who pass by during walks . 🐶 * Playful and gentle nature. * Barks when guests come to the house but quickly stops. * Goes anywhere without pulling on a leash and enjoys walking. *Does not like baths but stays calm. You must calm hre down to allow blow drying because he dislikes it a little. * Adjusts her posture when being brushed as if she feels refreshed. Dislikes having her toenails clipped, so that you need to take care of her toenails with nail grinding * A quick automobile ride did not cause her motion sickness. * Sheds on everage but occasionally has shedding in clumps. * Mastered orders such as 'sit' and 'shake hands', while 'wait' with 80% sucess rate. * Like: People, squeaky toys, sweet fruits, and walks 💙 Foster's Instagram : @_foster_diary_ 💙 Health Issues : Demodex(not contagious) caused Bbosoon to sratch herself, resulting in hair loss on her neck, front legs, and armpits. We are taking care of him, providing medication and dietary supplements.

Story
Meet Rose! Rose is a 6 months old puppy, currently kept at a foster house. It has not been long since she has been in her foster home, so we do not have a lot of information as other adoptables, but here are some essential factors you should know. Behaviours from foster: She is both potty trained and housebreaking, but prefers doing her job outdoors. For now, she does not have any behaviour problems such as barking or aggression against strangers. She a puppy who wags her tail to strangers and is curious of new people! She is PERFECT in showering and grooming – never even tries to bite. We are working on walks, while she is perfectly following our lead and training for now! She usually sleeps on her pillow at night. Just make sure you can handle her puppy vibe and energy with toys and walks! Allergy/health issues: She doesn’t have any allergic or health issues for now.

Story
Dumped as puppies near the SPCA PV sanctuary, Maple and her siblings began life as abandoned and are now in shelter care. These gorgeous pups are looking for a lucky new start with a family to love them. There are mixed breed, possibly pointer x cattle dog, but really we like to think of them as Mexican special breed of perfection. They are expected to grow to about 40 lbs. They were born in December 2023. They've been a hit at the local market and out with volunteer walkers - who wouldn't love them??! Maple is good with dogs and cats. They're making the best out of shelter life, but they would really love a happy ever after. The pups are in Mexico with flight options to Seattle, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. They are healthy and medium energy. If you think you might be a good fit, you can email pvcaadoptions@gmail.com, or go to our online application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw
