Hi there! My name’s Mani and here is a bit of info about me: Breed: Australian Shepard/Great PyreneesAge: 1 yearGender: MaleWeight: 50 lbs Height: 27 inch Highlights: Happy go lucky, playful, energetic, adventurous, cheerful, fast learner Do you like a pup with a big heart and even bigger dreams?  Life didn’t start out easy for me—I was just a tiny pup when someone left me in front of a crowded shelter. I didn’t understand what was happening, but I decided then and there to stay positive and keep my tail wagging.Since then, I’ve been living at the shelter, making the best of it. Everyone here loves me, and I’ve made lots of friends, but I can’t help dreaming of having my very own family. I dream of having my own cozy bed to curl up in and a pile of squeaky toys to call my own. I dream of going on long walks, hikes, and exciting adventures, making memories with my forever family.I’m what you’d call a happy-go-lucky kind of guy! I love everyone I meet—dogs, cats, humans—you name it, I’m their friend. Playtime is my absolute favorite, especially when I get to run around and wrestle with my furry pals. I have lots of energy and need daily activities to keep me happy and healthy. You'll be happy to note, I show no signs of aggression or resource guarding observed. I am a very fast learner and given the opportunity, I will learn all the tricks there is in no time.If you’re looking for a cheerful, adventurous companion to fill your days with love and laughter, I might just be the pup for you.I promise I’ll win you over with my wagging tail, sunny personality, and big heart! Energy Level: Medium/high, still a puppy I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: YesKids: Unknown, rescuer states yes, but no video proof Fears: Unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Prey drive: None observed, My adopter should be willing to seek a trainer if such behavior arises. Training: Basic. Please be patient with me..Leash skills: Undetermined. Please be prepared to continue training me.House trained: Know where to go potty at my current location, however, please be prepared to help me learn where to go in my new home.  Health notes: I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##2288935##

Hallooo world. My name is HONNI (Honey), how do you do? Here is a bit of info about me:Breed: Australian Shepard/Canaan dog mixAge: 3 yrs Gender: FemaleWeight: 20 kgHeight: tbdCountry of origin: LebanonHighlights: Loyal, Intelligent, Affectionate, Calm, Independent I am a faithful & chilled out girl, awaiting a family to adore and in which to bring joy. And don't you just love my unique markings?Rescuers heard me screaming and followed the sound. When they got closer, they saw a man hitting me with a wooden stick. I was crying out, desperate for help. My rescuers would not walk away from this ghastly cruel scene. Without hesitation, they came in and took me. People in the area were telling the man to either poison me or put me in a bag and throw me on the highway. Sadly, these are the horrors in my country.I had been through so much and I was terrified, but I somehow knew they were there to save me. Being I wS wearing a collar, showed I once had a home, but likely was abandoned. Life on the street was just as harsh, as my previous family.Despite everything though, I remain a sweet and friendly pup, so they named me Honey. You'll find me quite the intelligent pupper, as well as affectionate. I tend toward the calm and can be independent, so I should be able to entertain myself when you are busy. I hear something called a kong toy stuffed with peanut butter is a good distraction. SMILE. My beautiful white flowing fur is lovely to behold. It is like a wonderful waterfall splashing down my chest, don't you think?I want to share my story with you. I didn’t have the best start to life. I was used in an illegal breeding center where I was treated badly and never shown love or care. One day, they abandoned me on the streets, alone and scared. Things got even worse when city workers, trying to get rid of stray dogs, shot me twice. I was so hurt, but I ran for my life. When rescuers found me, I was bleeding and weak. No one was sure if I would survive, but I’m a survivor who fought my way back to life. With the help of kind volunteers, a wonderful vet, and lots of love and care, I started to heal. Every day, I got a little stronger. Now, I’m healthy, happy, and full of hope. I’ve come such a long way, and I’m ready for the next chapter in my life. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 💙 Name: Gucci 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 4 years old (Born in April 2021) 💙 Weight: 10 kg / 22.2 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Adogs got an emergency call from “Happy Dogs Home” for an urgent rescue. An elderly owner who had been caring for many dogs alone had to be hospitalized for hospice care, so the dogs were suddenly left without a caretaker. It had rained the day before, so Adogs was worried about their health. The director of Adogs personally went to Yongin and rescued Gucci, who had just given birth, along with her puppies. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Tends to be shy, and avoids and hides from people when nervous. Though she still feels uncomfortable, she does accept pets even from strangers if they touch her slowly. Is docile and accepts being touched once she becomes familiar with you. You should wait for her to build up trust. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, even new ones. Will even approach first and play with canine friends that she likes. Has no issues with living with other dogs and is very sociable. * With Cats: When encountering cats at our center, she shows aggression so caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed since she lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Currently only goes potty outside at our center. * Hygiene: Is scared of being touched at first and may try to run away. However, once she calms down, she’s okay with brushing and nail trimming. It's also possible to give her a bath or dry her if you soothe her through it. * Walk: Is timid and doesn't walk ahead. Rather, she tends to follow from behind without pulling the leash. Doesn’t get excited when she sees other animals like dogs, cats, or birds. Sometimes tries to bolt to get away from people during walks, so using a double leash is a must! * Likes: Likes other dog friends and enjoys spending time with them. * Dislikes: Is scared when people suddenly try to touch her, or if they make large movements.

Story
Hello out there!! My name is WINSTON and here is some info about me: PHYSICAL INFO: Breed: Aussie Shepherd mix (best guess, really!) Age: approx. 1.5 years Gender: Male Weight: 45 lbs  Current Location: TEXAS RESCUE STORY - Not much is known about my life before, but one day I just wandered up to a woman's house and made myself at home. They contacted County Roads Rescue, and the rest is history! My rescuers assumed I had an owner at one point, because I was such a well behaved boy! They searched for my owners, but couldn't find them and nobody appeared to be looking for me. Can you believe it? How could nobody be missin' a cutie patootie like me? I am SUCH a good boy and am very ready to find my forever home; one where I will get the love and care I am so deserving of. TEMPERAMENT - I am described as playful, friendly, and very entertaining. I am gentle with kids and people and I love to be around other animals. I've heard that I'm the "best of both worlds" when it comes to manners and energy level. I'm shockingly well behaved considering my lack of a stable home environment during my adolescent years. I am an active boy who will thrive in an home where we go on lots of adventures, walkies, hikes, etc. In true Aussie Shepherd fashion, I am smart, loyal, and need to be mentally and physically tuckered out daily in order to be content and happy.  I am a social butterfly and see everyone as a friend (cats, dogs, humans of all ages... you name it, I love it!) ENERGY LEVEL - Medium/High - I am a young Australian Shepherd boi who can be energetic and playful. Once my brain and body are sufficiently exercised, I'm a sweet, cuddly boy who enjoys affection and snuggles. I absolutely LOVE to play with other dogs, but when I'm not in play mode, I'm pretty calm. GETS ALONG WITH: Kids – Yup! Here is a video of me meeting some kiddos, I'm just the happiest, sweetest boy!  as with ALL dogs, I should always be supervised around children and I need to have my space respected. It's important to remember I am a rescue pup with minimal training, so I may play nip or bounce/jump up on people (including children!) Dogs – Yup! Check out my video, I am the ultimate playmate! Cats – Yes - video coming soon. PREY DRIVE - Low, however I don't know how I'll react to squirrels/rabbits etc. My adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, if they arise. TRAINING: Leash skills – I do pretty well on a slip leash but would love an adopter who is willing to continue working with me on my leash skills.  Crate trained -  Yes! Growing up in a kennel/shelter environment, my kennel is my safe space. There may be an adjustment period when I go to my new home, but with proper use, the crate can be my safe space :) House trained – Work in progress! I am very clean inside my crate/kennel space, so my rescuers think I'll pick up housetraining pretty quick. I'm sure with frequent potty breaks and positive reinforcement in my new home, I'll catch on quickly! Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.  HEALTH NOTES: I have been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.  I have tested negative for heartworm. I will be tested for distemper and parvo before travelling (although I've been vaccinated for both!) NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter. ADOPTION FEE: My adoption fee is $840.00, including applicable taxes ($750.00 CAD + 5% GST and 7% PST), which includes my ground transport to Edmonds, Washington. My adopter needs to be willing to drive to Edmonds, Washington to pick me up! :)  ------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: Please visit wcpdogrescue.com to read about West Coast Paws Dog Rescue and it's adoption process. The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live.  WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.  ##2524514##

Hello! My name is Ranya, and here is a little info about me:Breed: Border Collie mixedAge: 3 years oldGender: FemaleWeight: 22 kgCountry of origin: LebanonHighlight(s): Gentle, loving, calm, and endlessly affectionate I’m Ranya — a soft-hearted girl with the sweetest eyes and an even sweeter soul. I love cuddles, treats, and being close to people who care about me. I was found in a remote area, all alone but still clean and calm. No one knew where I came from, and I couldn’t tell my story, but it was clear I once had someone who loved me — until suddenly, they didn’t. Even then, I never gave up. I still wagged my tail, approached people with trust, and hoped someone kind would find me. Luckily, my rescuer found me just in time before the cold nights left me hungry and weak. I’m friendly, affectionate, playful, gentle, and social. I adore people, dogs, and kids alike. I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by love — cuddles and treats make my day! I’d love a warm, caring home with people who enjoy affection as much as I do. A family or individual who can include me in their daily life and give me the love and comfort I’ve always longed for would be perfect. Training: Basic — I’m eager to learn and respond well to kindness and positive reinforcement.Leash skills: Some — please be ready to continue helping me practice.House trained: Not yet — please guide me patiently as I learn where to go in my new home. Health notes: In good health. I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2553684##

Hello!  I'm Vida (Alvida) and you can find some info about me below.   Breed: Border Collie / Shepherd mixAge: 3 yearsGender: FemaleWeight: 44 lbsHeight: 16 inCountry of origin: IsraelHighlights: Playful, cuddly, resiliant, eager to learn I had a tough beginning but never lost my sweet spirit.  My story began near a university, where some students spotted me with a deep wound around my neck. It looked like I’d been tied tightly with a rope for a long time. Thankfully, they reached out to a rescue, and a worker came with a taxi to save me. Since then, I’ve been healing — inside and out — and I’m finally ready to find a home where I’m safe, loved, and free. I'm living in a shelter alongside many animals who are in need of a second chance at life.  I've made some furry pals here; playing with other dogs, and have been introduced to cats, though they're a curious species and I keep my distance.  The volunteers here are so kind to me!  I love it when they bring me treats!  Walk time is very special, and I'm learning leash manners. I'm a gentle girl who loves to please.  Eager to learn, I'll follow your lead -- especially when treats are involved!  Toys are so much fun to play with, especially when I have a human's attention. I hope to find a forever home where I can truly belong. I’d love a person or family who will continue to show me the kindness I’ve just begun to know, and help me keep growing in confidence and happiness. Videos on the way. Hi there. My name is ORIO (Oreo) and here is a bit of info about me:Breed: Border Collie / Spitz mixAge: 5 yrsGender: femaleWeight: 38 lbsHeight: tbd Highlights: calm, cuddler, loyal, clever Left in the freezing cold in Lebanon to fend for themselves at a young age, I was found on the streets roaming around and looking for food in the garbage. Me and my best friend Olivia were constantly harassed by passerbys. We were threatened with being shot, if not removed. Thankfully, a rescuer came through for us. I was pregnant when found and since had 4 adorable puppies. I was transferred to a boarding shelter until a home was found.  I certainly enjoy snuggling, a real cuddle bug they call me.My foster says I am great in the house, calm outside and don't bark a lot. I enjoy the great outdoors. So much so, that it would be best to go to a home with some decent sized property for me to run around."Very sweet & very loving" is how my foster describes me. My foster has worked with me to get me to stop pulling on a leash. Now, I'm a pro walker. I am also great in the house.I have no aggressions at all and will wait to eat til told ok. I get along fine with other dogs. Not sure cats would be a good match nor chickens, as at times I have dug holes to try to escape from the acreage to get to the chickens next door... chicken al fresco. So, best without the temptation around. You will not find any behavioral issues with me (other than chickens), so should be fine with older kids. You'll see I am bright-eyed and happy. Very loyal and clever too. Bet you could teach me tricks.I really need to find a home with my buddy, Olivia (also posted), as we are quite bonded with one another. Energy Level: moderate I get along with:Dogs: yesCats:  noKids: no Prey drive: fairly high. My adopter needs to be willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise.
