Story
Sex: FemaleBreed: Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever xEstimated Date of Birth : 04/01/2023Ok all you Aussie and Lab lovers we’ve got a pretty amazing little girl who just might be the perfect fit for you….Meet Brie! Brie is the perfect blend of both breeds. She’s got beauty, she’s got brains and she’s got just about the sweetest temperament you could ask for. She LOVES everyone! Children, dogs of all shapes and sizes, kitties, livestock, strangers they’re all her very best friends. Because she loves company so much we think she’d be best suited to a home with another young, fun and playful canine buddy. She really connects with dogs and tends to follow and take their lead. She’d love a furry friend of her own to grow and play with. For a puppy she has a wonderful moderate energy level. A regular walk each morning and then naps throughout the day with a bit more activity in the evening will suit her just fine. Playtime is her absolute favorite. In true puppy fashion she enjoys pretty much any game you can think of. Tug of war, chase and wrestling all are so much fun! She also loves to chew bones and nap next to her foster dog siblings Shes a tough girl and can play with the rough and rowdy dogs and with a little direction can soften up her energy for the pups less rough and tumble. If you’ve been looking for a dog buddy for your dog Brie is one of the best we have ever met!Now all good puppies need training and that’s exactly the kind of structure Brie is getting in foster care. She’s learning rules, boundaries and everything in between. She’s learning not to jump and learning to walk nicely on a leash. She’s learning that just because she wants every living thing to be her very best friend that sometimes those things aren’t part of playtime (kitties and donkeys lol). She’s learned some basic obedience skills and is crate trained. She’s working on her house manners and picking things up quickly. She is extremely easy to train and such a smart girl she just needs the right family to continue where we leave off. Think that’s you? Apply today! Story
Looking for a new home for this female puppy that is 7 months old. My daughter had to move and can’t have her in her rental. She has all her puppy shots, crate trained, potty trained, is good with kids (just very playful), good with other dogs that are playful. Not sure about cats because she hasn’t been around any. She is very sweet and loving. Crate, crate cover, leash, food bowl and dog food will go with her.

These pups are in Bakersfield, California too!

Story
Camy is a 3-4 year old Border Collie/Husky Mix. She came to us through a Good Samaritan who found her left in a dog park. We found several posts online showing she had been spotted several times across town for 3-4 weeks before finally being found in the dog park. Her previous owners never claimed her. We had no clue she was pregnant until her belly grew into a watermelon sized ball, seemingly overnight! She gave birth to 9 healthy puppies who have all been adopted by the most wonderful families. Camy is the sweetest, most lovable girl with very high energy. She does not like to be kenneled and only wants to go for walks or play. She needs a family with a very active lifestyle and/or another very active dog with similar energy type to ensure a happy forever after. She gets along with most dogs but can be picky about others. She would be best suited for older kids. A very secure yard/play area is a must because she is an escape artist and will take off if she feels like it. This behavior will, most likely, subside once she has a family that can satisfy her need for attention and exercise. All current AND previous pets (cats and dogs) MUST be up to date on vaccines and be spayed/neutered. Please check with your landlord, if you rent, for breed and weight restrictions before applying. We do not allow visitors unless you are an approved adopter. If you'd like to adopt her, please fill out an adoption application here: www.luckysanimalrescue.com/adoption-app
