Aussie mix, male puppyMeet Benji! West (formerly Benji) is a handsome, 10-month Aussie / shepherd mix. West needs a breed-savvy home to help him live his best life. West is an incredible dog who has been a joyful and loving part of the family (his original adopters sadly had to return him to us). He is particularly amazing with the two young children that reside in the home. He is always gentle and patient, and has a calm demeanor that makes him a pleasure to be around. He is crate trained and housebroken. He is affectionate, loyal, and devoted and would thrive in a home that knows how to fulfill a working breed dog. He does require a slow introduction / integration with other dogs and is NOT RECOMMENDED with cats, chickens, or other small animals. He does have a high prey drive. West is 70lbs and currently located in Ojai, CA. He is microchipped, neutered, and UTD on vaccines.
