Story
A friend found her on Facebook on a personal profile listed to go to a new home. I adopted her and shortly after adoption I discovered she had severe epilepsy. I adopted her in April of 2025 and have gone through a couple of different medications to try to regulate seizures to some avail. Since I live alone and work extreme hours I am unable to give her the proper care and attention she needs. I don't want to give her up, but I'm not so selfish as to keep her in an environment where she doesn't get what she needs to survive and thrive. She desperately needs a home and owners that can care for her around the clock.

Indy is a 4-year-old Aussie mix that is really sweet and loving. She likes to go for car rides. She was brought to the rescue as an owner surrender because they were moving to a place that didn't allow pets. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog. She can get food and toy aggressive with other dogs.

Goose is a 3 year old male Australian Shepherd. Goose is handsome and loves to run and play, he is soft and likes to play fetch, a big yard would be a plus to play all that fetch in. Even a job for this guy would be something he would enjoy. He is with Goodboyz LLC dog training so he can get the training he wants. Our adoption hours are Tuesday-Friday 3-6PM and 1-5PM on the weekends. We are located in Burlington, Iowa. All dog adoptions include a health exam, Rabies, DHPP and Distemper vaccinations, Heartworm check, Sterilization and post surgical pain medication. All cat adoptions include A health check up, FLV and FiV screening, FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, sterilization with pain medications.
