Stevie wonder is a roughly 1.5 year old corgi/aussie mix. He is a product of the double Merle gene so he is blind and deaf. He quickly got acclimated to my home and gets around on his own no problem. He is potty trained. He is very food aggressive!! I have had him for 3 months, I adopted him from Rubys Rescue. I have 3 other dogs and 4 cats. He is fine with the cats. He has gotten into fights with my dogs 3 times, twice over food related incidents and once for no reason. He has bitten my toddler 3 times. Once when we first got him and my toddler walked by his food. Second time my toddler tried to scoot him over in bed. Third time my toddler walked in front of his kennel. Food aggression can be managed by making him eat in his kennel every time. I don’t want him to be put down, the rescue won’t take him back. He is a GREAT dog, just not for people with small children. He needs people who understand when to give him space.

Osiris may take a little time to warm up, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll discover a goofy, loyal best friend with a heart that’s absolutely worth the wait. This 5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix (61 lbs) is house-trained, quietly intelligent, and full of personality once he feels safe. At first, he takes his time getting to know new people, but he’s already shown what’s possible when someone invests in him. The staff at Wish Bone took that time, and now they get to see the real Osiris—goofy, playful, and affectionate. He’s a classic “watch first, trust later” kind of guy. In a home environment, you’ll often find him lounging on the couch, keeping tabs on the outside world like it’s his favorite reality show. But when he’s comfortable? Cue the zoomies. His silly side comes alive, especially enjoying his favorite toys. Osiris enjoys walks, car rides, and a good chew session, and he generally walks nicely on leash…unless a critter makes a guest appearance. Then his herding instincts kick in and it’s game on. He can also be a bit mouthy in play, and needs an adopter willing to work with him on manners. Because he startles easily and is still building confidence, Osiris is looking for an adult-only home with someone experienced in herding breeds. He’ll do best in a quieter home with few visitors, or one where he has a safe, comfortable space to retreat to when company comes over. He thrives on routine, patience, and people who respect his space. With patience, understanding, and a little time, Osiris blossoms into an incredibly devoted companion. The people who know him best have already seen how much love, personality, and potential he has to give, and the right home is going to be rewarded with one very special dog. Meet Erling, a 3-month-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing just under 10 pounds. This sweet little guy has already overcome more than any puppy should. While we don't know what happened before he came into our care, his battered ears and patch of missing hair tell a story. Thankfully, as his foster mom says, "Whatever trauma he faced before does not seem to have impacted his love and trust of others." Like any puppy, Erling is full of curiosity, playfulness, and sharp little teeth! He loves toys, sturdy chew toys, and car rides, and he's always ready to explore the world around him. As he grows, he'll need a family committed to helping him learn everything a puppy needs to know, including house training, crate training, and basic manners. Erling has been around the older dogs in his foster home, though they aren't quite sure what to make of such a rambunctious youngster. He's also seen the resident cat but hasn't had direct interactions. He hasn't been exposed to children yet, but we think older kids who understand typical puppy antics would be the best fit.
