Story
Hello everyone! My name is Roscoe! I am a 1 year old 25 pound mini Aussie. I was surrendered to a local shelter with my brother by my original owner. From the looks of it I was relatively a loved guy and doted on. My coat is gorgeous and I’m the perfect size for an Aussie. I am fostered with cats as small as 1 pound kittens, a 3 pound toy poodle all the way up to a Great Dane and kids as young as 6 years old. I’m perfect with the young children and don’t exhibit any herding behavior towards the small kids or actually the cats/kittens in my foster home. I am excellent with the feline friends. When it comes to the dogs in my foster home and there are so many of all sizes and ages, I do not display any herding behaviors towards my canine friends however I do display a tad bit of dominance towards one single dog. He bumps his butt against me and I try to hump him but as soon as my foster mom tells me no I back off. When other dogs tell me no I tend to back off. I don’t bother my foster family’s very elderly snarky chihuahua or dogs who don’t engage me. I am a very playful happy silly boy with a huge heart and a lot of love. I do act like a typical Aussie though so any family interested in me should be familiar with typical Aussie behavior. We are known for being dominant and bossy and if we don’t have set rules we will make our own. I tend to have a leader type of attitude. I am very very sweet and love to be loved on. I have perfect crate manners and do not have a I accidents. Sometimes I whine but when my foster family tells me to stop I do stop. I do not have accidents in the house, I tried to hike once but my foster mom made it abundantly clear it wasn’t allowed. *** I get neutered and fully vetted on may 13, so the earliest I can be adopted is may 14. Adoption donation fee is $500 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue. Story
Hello everyone! My name is Opie! I am a 1 year old mini Aussie and I weigh around 30 pounds. I was surrendered to a local shelter with my brother by my original owner and I appear to have been exceptionally cared for. The circumstances as to why I was surrendered unchained souls doesn’t know. I am currently in a foster home with small dogs as little as 3 pounds with 3 legs up to a Great Dane and dogs as old as 15 years old. I am also fostered with tiny kittens currently and kids as young as 6 years old. I haven’t displayed any herding behavior towards people or animals at all since I’ve been in my foster home. My first few nights in my crate I cried but over the last week I am silent all throughout the night. I have excellent house manners and don’t have any accidents however when I first got to my foster home I did try to hike my leg on my kennel and my foster mom shut that behavior down quickly and I don’t do it anymore. I am very very sweet, a little shy at first, extremely gentle, and don’t display any of the normal Aussie behavior. I am not dominant towards people or other animals whatsoever. I am an old soul, laid back, and a gentle sweet boy. **I do not get neutered and fully vetted until may 13 so the earliest I can go to my forever home is may 14! Adoption donation fee is $500 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue. Story
Max is a purebred Australian Shepherd and 2½ years old. He is fully housebroken. Definitely a velcro dog. Hes so very sweet and funny in our home. He REQUIRES a fenced in yard to run off his energy. He loves kids but doesn't know how big he is, so they do tend to get knocked down, so very little ones wouldn't be ideal. He plays hard and can jump VERY high. He needs an Aussie lover because they're "special" dogs. Needs serious training!! NOT for the inexperienced dog owner. Thank you for your consideration. I WILL EMAIL YOU IN RESPONSE TO AN APPLICATION TO START THE PROCESS OF MEETING SO LOOK FOR THAT EMAIL PLEASE.

Story
Bear is a goofy little guy with a big personality packed into a fluffy body. He’s known for spinning in circles trying to catch his tail and saying hello to all the people! He enjoys having a good time and brings plenty of silly energy along with him. Bear can be dog reactive and will need slow introductions. He may need a little extra support on walks and does best in low-key environments. He has done well in playgroups with dogs his size and smaller. He would do best in a home with calm, easygoing dogs his size. A home without cats is recommended for this goofy guy.
