He thrives with structure, routine, and a confident owner who understands herding breeds. The Golden Retriever is loving, gentle, and sweet-natured& balances him beautifully and is happiest when she is with her people and her buddy. Story
Willow is around 2 years old. We love Willow but unfortunately we became tight on money and are forced to work more just to cover bills and are not able provide the home Willow needs. She is high energy and very friendly. She is kennel trained and potty trained. She does manage to escape our 4 foot tall chain link fence by jumping over it so she would do best in a home with a taller fence or someone who has time to walk her everyday. She always stays in the neighbor hood but I am worried she could be hit by a car as we live close to a main road. If we could afford to build a taller fence I would definitely keep Willow. She is due for her annual shots but unfortunately I cannot afford to take her to the vet right now. She is treated with a topical tick prevention monthly. Willow would be a great addition to a home with other high energy dogs and older children. She also would do very well on a farm or a home with land for her to run.

Story
We’ve had Wickett for the last 6 years. He has traveled many states with us and hiked many trails and has ran freely as a farm dog in between. We believe now at this stage of his life he would do best with an experienced family with no kids or kids that are older and can respect his space. Our son is in his toddler years and there is a lot of sporadic movements and food that puts him in difficult situations. He is friendly around our son and enjoys his pets when they are supervised. He is muzzle trained. Very sweet and loving dog. Wants to be with/near his people. Is very smart and food driven. Loves to chase squirrels/small animals and can jump 4ft fence. Meets new people best when he is outside in open space. Let him approach in his own time. Very protective of his space and area. He knows sit, stay, down, paw, touch. He has a dog brother for past 5 years and takes time being introduced to other dogs and animals.

Max is a purebred Australian Shepherd and 2½ years old. He is fully housebroken. Definitely a velcro dog. Hes so very sweet and funny in our home. HES VERY REACTIVE...LIKE MOST AUSSIES ARE APPARENTLY...BARKS AND PULLS LIKE A LUNATIC WHEN HE SEES DOGS OR PEOPLE AND HAS NO EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER DOGS SO FAR. AS STATED ABOVE, HE WOULD PROBABLY NOT BE GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS IN THE HOME. He REQUIRES a fenced in yard to run off his energy. He loves kids but doesn't know how big he is, so they do tend to get knocked down, so very little ones wouldn't be ideal. He plays hard and can jump VERY high. He needs an Aussie lover because they're "special" dogs. Needs serious training!! NOT for the inexperienced dog owner. Thank you for your consideration. Susi is absolutely adorable! She loves playing with the big dogs, being petted and loved on, and eating time. We are working on potty training and she does not potty in her crate so we are making progress. Susi is age appropriately vetted, spayed, and started on preventions. Border Collies are smart energetic dogs that require a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. A fenced yard is required. Hey everyone! My name is hopscotch! I have a very very sad story. I was picked up at a local very overcrowded shelter with my foot missing on one of my back legs. The muscle in my leg had completely atrophied and my leg was very infected. My back leg had to be amputated. I weighed 31 pounds and every bone in my body could be seen even under my thick coat of fur. I was such a medical mess my rescue didn’t expect me to make it. I am on the road to recovery but because of how neglected I was, I have a few requirements in my forever home! I am fostered with dogs and a small child and I’m great with dogs of all sizes! I am not a fan of kitties so I would need a home with no kitties! I am great with my foster mom’s kid but she thinks my best home would be with older kids. I have perfect house manners and would not even need crated if I was in a home alone. I had a litter of puppies I was clearly still nursing when I was found as a stray in a ditch but my puppies were never found. It’s hard telling what happened to them :( I am ready to find my happily ever after! I will need a fenced yard and someone who understands that it might it take me a few days to get the hang of things but once I do I will love you with my entire heart and soul! I am obedient, I am so smart, I’ve been through two different board and trains to learn the perfect manners a girl should have, and I would give my life for the family I love. Adoption donation fee is $50 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue.
