Callie is a sweet, energetic, playful little girl. She is great with kids and loves to ride on anything motorized. She is super smart and listens well. She needs to be the only dog in her forever home. She and her siblings were thrown into a pond where a good Samaritan jumped in to pull them to safety. She deserves to know love for the rest of her life. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.

He is a very good dog. Listens to commands, LOVES to run and play. Gets along very well with other dogs, large and small. You will enjoy all of the intricate ways that he falls asleep. He does have separation anxiety from his owner, if it is a while, he will be a bit depressed. Do not let that be a deal breaker, because as soon as he sees you again, he will be full of energy and excitement. I usually spend $25-30 on dog food every 2 weeks. He’s is not a high maintenance dog at all, but he does require a lot of time and attention. He would be PERFECT for a family with kids. A good, fenced in yard would serve him very well. He does like to chew on plastic, so make sure he has chew toys. He does shed a lot, so weekly grooming is a must. He does not fight to take baths, he usually sits there and wait.
