He is a very good dog. Listens to commands, LOVES to run and play. Gets along very well with other dogs, large and small. You will enjoy all of the intricate ways that he falls asleep. He does have separation anxiety from his owner, if it is a while, he will be a bit depressed. Do not let that be a deal breaker, because as soon as he sees you again, he will be full of energy and excitement. I usually spend $25-30 on dog food every 2 weeks. He’s is not a high maintenance dog at all, but he does require a lot of time and attention. He would be PERFECT for a family with kids. A good, fenced in yard would serve him very well. He does like to chew on plastic, so make sure he has chew toys. He does shed a lot, so weekly grooming is a must. He does not fight to take baths, he usually sits there and wait. Gus is can be a little shy at times. He is smart kind little guy and knows a lot of some common commands and he enjoys car rides. He is lease trained but still needs some additional training. He is very quiet inside the house and sleeps on his bed throughout the night. He doesn’t chew up anything or gets on the furniture. He seems to responds a little better to my wife and he likes to stay close to her. He is an excellent inside companion, very loyal and very low maintenance.
