Story
Unfortunately our lovely Australian Shepherd Izzy has developed genetic epilepsy. The Vet feels it can be controlled and kept to a minimum, or best case stop them. We are in the process of regulating the dosages of her medication, it has been happening about every 4 to 6 weeks. With my wife heart rhythm issues (SVT) and the anxiety it creates not knowing when or if she will have have another seizure, it has really put her health at risk and in the hospital. So very sadly we need to find a loving and caring home that is willing and about the deal with her medication and a possible seizure. We will let all of her belonging go with her, recliner for at a window to look out, create, mattress, toys, frisbee (her favorite thing to do) We picked her out and purchased her at 2 week and she was 3 years old 4/8/24. She loves people, get along well with other dogs, good with kids. If you are interested and we both feel everything is a good fit we can proceed from there.

Story
We were fostering this dog for our niece when they found out their daughter had leukemia. Since then the daughter had a bone marrow transplant & can't have any live pets for atleast a year. They decided they did not want to take him back at this time. Charlee is a good boy, still young( a little over a year old),we have other dogs, and cats. He is fine with all of them. He does get a little intimidate by tall people. He is crate trained, and house broken. We had him micro chipped & neutered. He thinks he is a lap dog, loves to have a paw on you whenever possible. He loves riding in the jeep with the top down and doors off. (of course he is doubled harnessed in) He does bark in his kennel at first until he realizes it is time to go night night, and squirrels! Our schedules have changed since we acquired charlee & he needs to have someone who has a little more time for training him. He has basic commands down (sit, shake, stay, no, get it) questions, just ask. He LOVES being outside

Story
Princess is a 5yr old Mini Aussie. She currently weighs about 45 lbs but is on a diet. A good weight would be 35 lbs. Princess is a smart and sweet girl. She was surrender to us when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a bit unhappy and stressed here at the rescue and is longing for a quieter life. She would love an adult home with someone who wants to be her best friend. She loves her people and will try hard to please you. She loves her toys and will entertain herself with them. She would love to have a fenced yard or someone who will take her on adventures. She is pretty well behaved but can be stubborn too. She does okay with other dogs but she can be jealous of them. She would prefer being the only dog. She is good with older children but little kids make her nervous. She is not good with indoor cats. If you are looking for a loving and devoted companion and would also be willing to meet her exercise needs then Princess may be the girl for you. She has a lot to offer to her forever home. She is house trained. She is up to date on shots and wormed. She is heartworm negative. She is already spayed. The adoption fee is $400. Story
Morgan is a 16mth old neutered male Aussie. He weighs 55lbs. Morgan came to us when his owners ended their marriage. Neither owner had a place for him. Morgan is a gorgeous boy with so much love to give. He could use a few better manners but he is a smart boy and will catch on quickly. He loves romping with the other dogs here at the rescue and plays nice with them. He has moderate energy and will require daily exercise. He should adapt quickly in his forever home. He is house trained. He has done well with other dogs and children. He is curious with my cat but hasn't tried to harm her. He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $400. If interested in meeting this cutie, please email heritagefarms08@gmail.com or call the foster at 419-591-6621 . Story
Peteese is a handsome mix of some sort (aussie? shepherd? rottie? husky?) who came to the shelter as a very worried stray. He is finding the shelter a scary place and would really love to get out of here! He's a fun dog but he does bark when he's worried. He's quick to warm up but will need an owner who can help him see that he doesn't need to be so worried. He would probably do best in a calmer home with no tiny people with someone with some experience with bigger dogs. He seems like one of those dogs who desperately wants a person of his own to bond with!
