Story
Harley is our grand pup. She was brought to our home when our son lost his apartment due to them not allowing dogs. She is a sweet dog. She gets along and enjoys playing with other dogs. She is house trained, crate trained. She is ok with being in her crate but unfortunately has spent to much time in her crate. She loves going for walks. She thinks she is a lap dog. We can’t keep her at our house. We already have two dogs.

Hello, I'm the owner of Ares. Sadly he has to be let go due to a busy work life.. Ares is a very friendly energetic dog. Great with kids and he especially loves females. I've owned him for about 5 years now and he was born in Washington State. I moved to the Midwest in 2021 and he came with me on the plane. He has a great demeanor and very playful with other animals and people. Feel free to reach out and hear more about his story. Thank you Charles.

Story
He’s 2.5 years old, I sort of rescued him from a different home where he wasn’t getting the best care and did the best I could. He needs someone who will give him more time and patience. Positives:-Great with kids and not aggressive, though he sometimes doesn't realize his own size.-Not possessive of food or toys.-Affectionate, cuddly, and very clingy.-Funny, goofy, and full of personality.Negatives:-House-trained, but has occasional accidents due to separation anxiety (mostly urine, sometimes both urine and stool if left longer). There is no consistent pattern to when accidents happen.-Not crate-trained. Crate training has increased his anxiety because he associates the crate with being left alone.-Reactive/aggressive toward other dogs when they're on leashes and can be difficult to redirect, though he does not redirect aggression toward people. He regularly attends doggy daycare and does well with other dogs in that off-leash social setting.

Story
Unfortunately, we have to rehome Winnie because she cannot get along with my male French Bulldog puppy who is 11 months old. I have been keeping them separated for 11 months and it’s just been really hard. She is very sweet and gentle. She has always been skittish since she was a puppy. We got her from an Amish family when she was 12-13 weeks old. She will pee if someone she doesn’t know goes to pet her. She is a great protector of the household and of her humans. I think she would be better off with a family that doesn’t have any pets. She likes a lot of attention! She and my 3 year old English Bulldog are best friends, so it breaks my heart that I have to find a good home for Winnie. She loves it outside and would do best in a fenced in back yard. She protects her fenced in area and will bite if a stranger puts their hand over the fence to try to pet her. Once she gets to know her humans, the skittish tendencies go away.

Story
Teddy was surrendered by his owner along with his buddy Fuz. They were no longer able to care for the dogs. They were both headed to the shelter but shelter was over crowded and asked us to take them in. Teddy is a joy to have in foster care, he is easy to get along with and a happy go lucky pup. About 8 months old and 16 lbs. he is absolutely adorable! Teddy gets along with other dogs but people are his thing! He is as cute as he can be and has the personality to match. He would like to have a home that will play with him, take him for walks and just let him hang out with the peeps. He's a lover! All of his vet care has been updated including his neuter. adoption fee: 400 please contact us directly at: ohiosdrescue@gmail.com
