She would make a great new companion to any active family. Owning an Australian Shepherd is a rewarding but demanding commitment. Aussies are highly intelligent, energetic herding dogs that require at least 1-2 hours of rigorous daily exercise and mental stimulation. Without a job or proper outlets, they can become anxious or destructive. They shed a lot and need a dedicated, active owner. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Animals can be returned to the shelter for any reason, however, there are NO refunds or exchanges.

🐕 Bo is a cute but anxious little homebody. He’s a miniature Australian Shepherd, AKA a mix between a purebred Australian Shepherd, and a purebred Pomeranian.🎾 Bo loves to play with his stuffed raccoon and rubber balls! He’s a big fan of fetch and chase. Although he’s typically a more lax dog, he does occasionally get the zoomies, especially when you first get home and he’s so excited to see you!❤️ Bo becomes extremely attached to, loyal to, and protective of the owner(s) he trusts.🥩 Bo is food-motivated, knows the “sit” command, and has shown the ability to learn new commands with some persistent work. When he’s happy he’ll also “smile”!🏠 Bo is a homebody who prefers to spend every moment possible secure inside his residence. He isn’t a big cuddler, but spends lots of the time lounging around in his little safe spots.⛈️ Bo is a shy and anxious little guy. Some of his triggers are thunder storms, fireworks, loud/sudden noises and movement, separation, and strangers.

He was a stray, that luckily landed in rescue. He is about 40 lbs, about a year old. Blue is a medium - high energy pup, definitely not a couch potato. He will need daily exercise both physical and mental stimulation. This smart boy is highly treat motivated and loves learning new things. He’s eager to please and would thrive with someone who enjoys training, providing enrichment activities, and building a strong bond with their dog. Blue does have an off switch and happy to relax and snuggle after some great exercise. Blue would do best in a home that can provide daily walks, hikes, or runs, camping, just exploring the world with his people. Blue would like to have a fenced yard to play, ok with other dogs, or solo. He has not been cat tested, but very interested with squirrels and rabbits on walks. He has not been around children. He’s ready to find a family who appreciates his energy, intelligence, beauty, and his incredible ability to be both an adventure buddy and a professional snuggler.
