Story
Gus was found running down the street were no owners were ever found. What we can say about gus is that he is deaf. He is really sweet, loving and affectionate. He loves dogs but it does take him some time to warm up to a dog larger than him.Gus gets very excited and will need someone who understands when walking he can become over stimulated when seeing other dogs but , he loves dogs that want to play. He is very active so walks and a yard is a must. He is a great dog who needs an understanding owner who knows how to communicate with a dog that is deaf or is willing to learn. He is best with a very tolerate dog that will let gus know when he is being to pushy.

Story
The time has come for us to rehome our family dog, Jameson. I got Jameson when he was 8 weeks old and will be 11 in August. Unfortunately a lot has changed in our family. My husband and I have two toddlers and a baby on the way. The every day chaos of small children has made Jameson grumpy and unhappy leading to constant barking and anxiety when the kids are awake. Jameson needs a loving home where he can live out the rest of his days in peace. When he's one on one, he's an amazing dog. He naps almost all day, never has accidents and has never chewed/ruined anything in the house (other than stealing the occassional snack off the table). He has never bit anyone, but will definitely bark and show protective behaviors for the first few minutes that a new person is around. He is an all around great dog, just not a great dog for small children. He would thrive in a stable home where he can just eat, nap and chill. (FYI photos taken 3/18/24 after grooming. He usually has long fur)

Story
Hello, I'm Bitskie! I'm a shy, but very goofy girl hoping to find a loving, active family of my own. I can take a little time to warm up but I'm silly and playful once I do. I would do best in a home with adults and teens only. I'm not a fan of other dogs and would be happiest as your one and only. Please come to the shelter to get to know more about me today!

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE. Loda is about 7 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 65 lbs. She is an easy going dog who loves attention. She can even be a bit demanding for pets. She came in with red skin and once put on an antibiotic has shown major improvement in just a weeks time. We have moved her to a no grain food to see if that clears up faster. She was surrendered to a shelter for growling at the grandchildren. We do not know how old they were, if it was the running/noise which made her uncomfortable. She will need a home with children over 13 yrs. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Loda, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Story
Dexter is almost about to turn 11 months old. He is a great little dog, he is very much a “Velcro dog” so somebody who is home a lot would be a great fit for him. He has never been crated & likes to sleep in the bed, so somebody who would let him sleep in the bed would be an absolutely perfect fit. He has never caused destruction in the house, but I would say don’t leave tissue or pieces of cardboard out as he will have a chew! He’s a small little guy & he is still a puppy so toilet training is still ongoing to some extent, he poops outside but sometimes with his little bladder he will need to pee when I’m gone & for this reason I keep a litter tray with a puppy pad & he uses that. He will come with all of his toys and everything he uses. I just really want him to go to a nice home where he will get the attention, walks and a great life. Please don’t consider this if you don’t believe you can give him that. The reason I’m rehoming him is because I’ve moved in with roommates.
