** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE. Loda is about 7 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 65 lbs. She is an easy going dog who loves attention. She can even be a bit demanding for pets. She came in with red skin and once put on an antibiotic has shown major improvement in just a weeks time. We have moved her to a no grain food to see if that clears up faster. She was surrendered to a shelter for growling at the grandchildren. We do not know how old they were, if it was the running/noise which made her uncomfortable. She will need a home with children over 13 yrs. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Loda, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Please contact us regarding how you can help by fostering or volunteering for our organization.

Story
Hi, my name is SKY and my rescue thinks I’m so beautiful. I am between 8/9 months old. I am a collie, husky mix, or collie Australian shepherd (DNA test pending). 💓💓💓 I am a high energy independent dog. I am smart, observant and I pay attention, not that I would want to escape but boredom would leave me curious to find ways to climb things or jump over things. My ideal family would be an active one. Someone that would want to go places and take me places. Someone with a yard for me to run and play that’s fenced in with high walls. I would make a great hiking or adventure buddy. I will hang out for a little bit other wise I’m up moving, playing and curious. I do well with structure, I use a crate, but will only go in it if you have a treat or something to give me then I’m fine. I can’t say I listen perfectly always… that’s the independent side of me, but treats and things help me listen. Please work with me so I can be the best version of myself for you!! I am submissive and respect and learn other dogs boundaries very quick. I might not have the best personal space manners when saying hi to another dog so a friendly and welcoming sibling will work for me as I am a high energy greeter. When it comes to bones, I don’t share, I will let you know it’s mine so that’s best kept separate. I like to chew on things after all I am still a puppy so if you give me the right tools to use my energy I won’t chew your things. If you’ve got time, attention and energy then I’m the dog for you. ❤️ APPLY NOW ⬇️⬇️⬇️ https://www.vegaspetrescueproject.com/dog-adoption-interest-form

Story
Meet Marley! This sweet girl is looking for her forever home after being returned to SNARL due to her discomfort around small children-they can be a bit scary for her. Marley gets along well with cats but can be selective with dogs. Therefore, she would do best in a single-dog household, or a meet-and-greet with any potential dog siblings is a must. Marley is a snuggle enthusiast who loves endless pets and belly rubs. She's also obsessed with being outside and soaking up the sun. Despite her love for the outdoors, Marley is not very active. She only needs a quick walk or a short game of fetch to release her energy. She's kennel-trained, leash-trained, and potty-trained. On walks, she may need some redirection when she spots other animals, but she responds well to guidance. If you're looking for a low-maintenance, sun-loving, cuddle bug, Marley could be the perfect addition to your family!
