Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Everett, MA Meet Kingston! He is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 65 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Kingston is fearful of strangers. He is good with dogs! He hasn’t been tested around cats. No children, due to his reactivity! Kingston bit the owner’s father after he grabbed his collar because he was barking. He also bit the owner last year. This occurred while they were playing ball. Kingston jumped on the couch and bit the owner after he took the ball from him. The owner is surrendering him because they can’t provide the environment that he needs to thrive. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Kingston, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Kingston. Owner’s Contact Information: Zach Herman at (978) 835-8175 or zfherman@verizon.net.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our amazing BELLA is a black & tan mix (NOT a rottweiler. If I had to guess - Australian shepherd mix? ). She is soft, fluffy and full of love and snuggles. Bella loves to fetch and can always been seen with a toy in her mouth. She is very dog social and does not need to be "queen of the pack". Her herding instincts might make her too much for a cat or young children, but kids sturdy on their feet will be perfect. Do you hike, run or otherwise commit to lots of regular exercise? Bella is your girl. I'm sure she could acclimate to a more sedentary lifestyle, but she's a great pick for people who are out and about. Bella also is not a "banned breed" by your insurance company or condo complex. Meet Bella -- you won't be sorry! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you ready for a wiggly ball of love and energy to join your family? Margarita, a delightful 3-year-old mixed breed, is eagerly searching for her forever home! With her possibly Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd lineage, Margarita brings a unique blend of intelligence, loyalty, and charm.   This sweet girl is already housebroken and crate trained, making her the perfect companion for a loving household. While she's still polishing her leash manners, she's a quick learner who is eager to please. Margarita's sociable nature shines brightest when she's around other dogs, making her the ideal playmate for a canine sibling who shares her love for fun and frolic. Her zest for life and excellent parkour moves make her well suited for older children who are steady on their feet.  When she's not busy chasing after tennis balls or carrying her favorite toys around the house, Margarita adores cuddling up on the couch for some quality TV time. With her affectionate demeanor and playful spirit, Margarita promises to bring endless joy and companionship to her new family. Could Margarita be the missing piece to complete your family party? Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome this lovable bundle of joy into your heart and home! Margarita will not challenge anybody's homeowners insurance, and would love a family of her own. This Texas native has a great coat for our winter weather, and is READY TO GO. 4theloveofdog.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 9:53 am

Story
Pollux is a Mini Aussie aka American shepherd Dog (not listed on the drop down menu for breed). He's approx. 35lbs. Hes a good boy. I can not care for him properly as I had a stroke shortly after purchasing him. I have been unable to give him the training/attention he deserves and requires. He is confident, calm (for a working class dog), intelligent, stubborn, and not an excessive barker. Pollux will do great either with a family or just as a companion for someone. I do not know how he is with other dogs, he has no real experience with them. He is a chewer and likes to remove the stuffing from his beds. He is crate trained, his crate, toys, and bed are included. He lives with elderly cats (he'll chase them but has never hurt them or shown any aggression towards them), and children. He's still young, just over a year, and sometimes still jumps when excited so small children may be unintentionally knocked down or scratched. Feel free to ask any questions.
