Story
Asher has been a great dog, but we have noticed that he has become extremely protective of our house, to the point where we need to kennel him if guests come over, as well as have him on a GPS collar when outside at all times as he may act aggressive with strangers. He has also growled at (not bitten) our 9 month old baby now that she is crawling, if he has a toy or bone and she comes in close contact with him. We believe this is a behavioral issue due to Anna being the complete opposite and great with strangers and kids. We love Asher but we are worried that he will end up biting someone or one of our (4) kids. I believe Asher really needs an adult that can cater to him one on one, as that is where he seems to strive.

Story
Hazel is a stunning 2-year-old spayed female Australian Shepherd mix with the most mesmerizing eyes — one blue and one brown! This Texas girl made her way north after being found as a stray momma dog, and now that her puppies are taken care of, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled and loved.Hazel is incredibly affectionate and absolutely adores being pet. If you start giving her attention, she’ll happily lean right in and soak up every second. She’s also quite the talker! Like many Aussies, she isn’t shy about sharing her thoughts and will chat with you throughout the day.She already knows some of her basic commands like sit and no, and she’s eager to continue learning. Being a smart, active breed, Hazel will thrive with structure, consistency, and mental stimulation. She does need some work on leash walking, but with patience and training, she’ll catch on quickly.Hazel can be selective with other animals, so meet-and-greets are important to make sure it’s the right match. With the proper introductions and guidance, she has so much potential to blossom in the right home. After surviving life as a stray with her babies, Hazel is ready to live her very best life — filled with love, stability, belly rubs, and a family to call her own. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and beautifully unique companion, Hazel may just be your girl.

Story
We have a litter of 8 pups, their Date of Birth is; 12/30/25. They will be 8 weeks old on adoption day 2/28/26. They run free with their mom on the farm. They are all very friendly and happy. This is just a family who had a litter of pups. We are spaying the mom as soon as the pups are gone. Mom is a farm dog, so the pups were born and live in the barn. Mom is medium sized, looks to be an Aussie mix of some type, she is medium size about 40 or 45 pounds. They don't know who dad is. They have had 1 distemper/Parvo vaccinations and a Bordetella. They will NOT be spayed/neutered, they are not old enough yet. The cost of the spay/neuter will be the responsibility of their new families. Our next adoption event will be 2/28/26. This is adoption day, if it doesn't work for you please wait until you are ready to apply. I am sorry to announce we will no longer adopt dogs of this breed & size to apartments. We have just had too many dogs returned or rehomed without our knowledge. Link to application http://fs6.formsite.com/savinemallrescueyahoocom/form1/index.html
