Story
I am estimating the birth date for these pups as 3/4/26, so they should be 12 weeks old when available. Mom is a Australian Shepherd, not sure who dad is. They were surrendered to the rescue because the family couldn't find homes for them. It appears as though these pups were not played with much, so they are very timid. Socializing at a young age is very important. I am working with them daily and have high hopes they will be over being timid by the time they are ready for adoption. They have had 1 distemper/Parvo vaccinations and a Bordetella. They will NOT be spayed/neutered, they are not old enough yet. The cost of the spay/neuter will be the responsibility of their new families. Our next adoption event will be 5/58/26. This is adoption day, if it doesn't work for you please wait until you are ready to apply. Thanks! We will be in Londonderry ,NH. Story
Gizmo is the very definition of bravery, resilience, and second chances. At just 18 months old and a tiny 10 pounds, this Miniature Aussie mix carries a story far bigger than his size. He is a breathtaking tri-color boy with a fluffy tail and the most unforgettable face — one deep chocolate brown eye and one sparkling blue eye that seems to hold an entire journey inside it. Gizmo came from a heartbreaking situation — over 200 dogs crammed into a tiny home and outdoor kennels by a backyard breeder. He was just a number there. Overlooked. Under-loved. His natural shyness became his shield, keeping him safe but also keeping love at a distance.   But then everything changed.   His foster family patiently worked their way into his guarded little heart, and once he realized he was safe, he opened up in the most beautiful way. While he can still be shy in new environments, with a little patience and kindness he blossoms. And when he trusts you? He is loyal beyond measure. He has chosen the dad in his foster home as “his person,” and he will happily follow him from room to room like the devoted little shadow he is.Gizmo is fully housebroken and an absolute champion on a leash. Like many Australian Shepherds, he is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn. He loves being outdoors — soaking up the sunshine in a securely fenced yard or patio and enjoying peaceful walks on a quiet street. A calm home environment would help him thrive. He does wonderfully with dogs and cats of all sizes, but he would also be perfectly content as your one-and-only companion. He’s a quiet little guy who loves his treats, enjoys curling up in his cozy bed to watch TV with his humans, and simply wants to belong.   If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a true rescue “rags to riches” story, Gizmo is waiting. His journey includes a recent miracle that will absolutely amaze you — and we would love to share it with serious adopters. To learn more about this incredible little survivor, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Gizmo is ready for the next chapter of his beautiful life.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 18, 2026, 5:20 pm

Story
Magnificent Millicent has a survival story that is one filled with incredible bravery. Rescued from a neglectful outdoor situation where she lacked basic comforts and proper care, she has refused to let her past dim her spirit. Since being brought into a loving home, she has blossomed from a scared, neglected pup into a thriving, happy girl. Personality: Bright, spirited, and full of joy. Millie is a full-of-life Aussie mix girl who is 18 months old and weighs 48 pounds. She approaches every day with enthusiasm and expecting a good day for all she meets.  She is a social butterfly who is wonderful with children and thrives on interaction. Millie is a quick study; she has already mastered the art of walking on a leash and sitting on command, proving she has a high aptitude for learning new skills. She is looking for an active family that can provide her with the daily exercise she craves, a fenced yard for hours of fun that is safely contained and continue her training journey. If you are looking for a loyal companion who listens well and brings a spark of energy to every room, Millie is your girl. Best Skills: Excellent recall, leash-trained, and kid-friendly. Ideal Home: An active household ready to keep her mind and body moving. This gorgeous girl is waiting her a refreshing new start to her life.  She is currently in Nashville, TN and is waiting for a ride to a great family in the northeast. Story
When we tell the story of  Mika, we have chosen to leave out the harsh details of the neglect and dirty conditions that she lived in.  Suffice to say it was disturbing to view. She was rescued alongside her sister, Millicent  who endured the same harsh living conditions. Despite a history of being mistreated and neglected, Mika the 18 month old, 52 pound  Aussie/Hound mix girl has a heart of gold and has shown zero resentment. She has spent the last few weeks learning what it means to be safe, clean, and cared for, and she has taken to her new life with total grace. Personality: Calm, affectionate, and steady. Mika is the definition of a sweetheart. She has a gentle, low-key temperament that makes her a perfect fit for a family looking for a more relaxed companion. She is fantastic with kids and simply wants to be where the love is. While she hasn't quite figured out what to do with toys yet, she is incredibly food-motivated, which has made her recent leash training a breeze! Mika is a polite listener who comes when called and is eager to please. She would be a wonderful addition to a home that values cuddles and a steady presence. She is ready to trade her rescue status for a lifetime of treats and affection. Best Skills: Calm demeanor, highly food-motivated (easy to train!), great listener, and kid-friendly. Ideal Home: A loving family that enjoys a peaceful pace and plenty of bonding time. Mika is ready for a new and fresh reset to her life.  She is ready to leave the hard past behind and only look ahead.  She is in Nashville, TN but can be transported to the northeastern states that the transport van visits and stops in.   Critter Cavalry Rescue would love to hear from you at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We stand behind this girl being one of the best dogs you could ever call your very own.
